It’s hard to believe it’s ten years since the sad passing of Mark Farren. Thoughts with his family and hopefully his strength and memory can inspire the club to an unlikely success again in 2026 just like it did in 2016.

❤️ 2:59PM - There will be a minute’s silence before Kick-Off in memory of Callum McVeigh, a former Portadown player who sadly passed away following a tragic accident on Christmas Eve. A young footballer taken far too soon.

💙 3:38PM - We ask supporters of both clubs to come together for 'Davy 'Twin' Larmour'. A lifelong Glenavon supporter, a member of so14 and a member of Portadown Defenders FB.

'Twin' who will be watching LIVE from Manchester, where he is currently receiving treatment and is not only missing the game but has missed Christmas and precious time with Lauren and their children.

🗣️ On the 38th minute, please join us in chanting “𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐫” to let him know he is not alone.

Tomorrow there is hatred both on and off the pitch but is a reminder that rivalries stop when it comes to life, health and family.
