O'Connells GAC Tullysaran

We invite all club members, past and present, who are attending the funeral of Bridie Conlon RIP to wear club colours and take part in a guard of honour.

Those wishing to participate are asked to assemble at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tullysaran, tomorrow morning at 10.40am.

The Chairperson, Executive Committee and members of O’Connell’s GAC extend their deepest sympathies to our former Chairman and current Executive Committee Member, Vincent (Vincy) Conlon, and to Committee Member and G4MO player Sharlene (Kernan), senior football player Ryan, senior camogie player Clara, and G4MO player Laura (Mullan) on the sad passing of their beloved mother and grandmother, Bridie Conlon.

Bridie was the dearly beloved wife of the late Malachy and much-loved mother of Michael, Carmel (Lennon), Patrick, Vincent, Philip, the late Martin and the late Sheena. Michael, Carmel, Patrick and Philip all proudly represented O’Connell’s GAC as players, while Vincy has given outstanding service to the club over many years as a former Chairman and current Executive Committee Member.

Bridie was also a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to a number of current and past players, reflecting the strong and enduring connection the Conlon family has with our club.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Conlon family circle and all who mourn Bridie’s passing at this sad and difficult time.

Following an unprecedented spike in orders from a certain cycling group in Tullysaran, Amazon has reportedly launched an urgent recruitment campaign for one additional delivery driver… solely to cope with the demands of our ❤️🤍 TLT26 ❤️🤍 cyclists. 📦🚐💨

With 95 miles on Saturday and 71 miles on Sunday (that’s 166 miles in one weekend! 😳), panic buying has officially begun.

Current orders include:
⚡ Energy gels
🥤 Electrolytes
☕ Caffeine chews
🧴 Chamois cream by the tub
🧦 “Lucky” socks
😎 Sunglasses for every possible weather condition
🚴 Emergency bike gadgets that are apparently “essential”
📦 …and several parcels that nobody admits ordering! 🤣

The successful Amazon applicant will be expected to:
🚐 Deliver throughout Armagh… but mostly Tullysaran ❤️🤍
🌭 Keep The Maydown Maestro supplied with sausages.
🐂 Ensure The Battleford Bull never runs short of fuel.
👮 Make sure The Boss has everything required to keep the peloton under control.
😂 And answer the door with a smile when someone realises at 10.30pm they desperately need another box of gels for a 7am rollout.
