Talking about periods doesn't have to be awkward.
Our mother and daughter day can create space for connection, honest conversations and positive associations around periods and menstrual health.

Sometimes the most important thing we can give a girl is a safe space to ask questions.

Our Mother & Daughter Day is happening on Sunday 13th September in Bluebell and you can get your tickets on our website. 💗

DM us for more Info.

We are passionate about changing conversations, changing health outcomes and changing cycles - one of those cycles is the number of girls who reduce their level of physical activity during adolescence, and we want to do something to change that.

Message us for a Registration Form, to join our Waitlist for info on our upcoming training & development day.

Please share with anyone who might be interested.

6 years of holding space for these very special days. We hear all the time how special the moments shared and memories created were. We also know that the younger we have these conversations with girls, the more natural and normal they are and the more confidence they have. Body & Health Literacy are so important at all ages and life stages.

Are you joining us this year?

Summer Roundup at Changing Cycles ☀️

We have had a busy spring & summer with our Community Nature Connect Day, our Outdoor Nature Summer Camp, Around the Fire monthly events, yoga at Camlough Lake and lots of planning for the new school year ahead.

Looking forward to what’s to come for us in the last few months of 2026!

This year we celebrate 6 years of Changing Cycles and what a journey it has been. Thank you to everyone that has supported our vision in so many different ways.

Founded in July 2020 by Joanne Callan during Covid, once she had finished baking banana bread and walking the same loop an idea that had been there for a number of years was finally birthed. Motivated by both her own experience of navigating a PCOS/PMOS diagnosis, and the lack of understanding, support and open conversation that surrounded it along with the conversation she had with women in her Holistic Therapy and Well being coaching business.

That personal and professional journey became the inspiration for Changing Cycles and the work we continue to do today. You can read more about Joanne’s story and how it inspired our social enterprise in our blog:’How My PCOS Journey Inspired Our Social Enterprise’

The journey over the past few years has seen us create and deliver our Preparing For Change programs in schools, alongside a range of menstrual education and well being programs in workplaces and community groups. We have been Social Enterprise of The Month with Social Enterprise NI, have delivered a powerful Ending Violence Against Women & Girls Program with The Bosco Youth Group, Hosted Mother Daughter Retreat Days and kept ourselves grounded and connected with our regular community fires and nature based wellness events.

We have recently restructured our Board joined by women with experience in a range of different areas, who share a common vision and are excited for what the future holds.

Here’s to many more years 🩸

We haven't been great at sharing with the social media world the different elements of what we offer at Changing Cycles - we are often busy behind the scenes, however we have plans to change that and want to share more of our offerings with you all and would love your interaction so we can grow, expand and reach more people. Social media doesn't always love the topics that we cover so our reach can be impacted - we need help from our friends and followers of the page.

One of our most successful programs has been Preparing For Change - we piloted it in two of our local schools 4 years ago, and it has continued to go from strength to strength with great feedback from parents, schools and pupils themselves.

We have exciting plans for 26/27 school year and look forward to sharing with you.

Thank you to everyone for your support for Preparing For Change.
