PL FACT: Our 3-1 win over Newcastle today means that Sadio Mané becomes the first ever player in the Premier League to go 50 games unbeaten at home for a single club (P50 W41 D9).
Interesting to note that his overall record at Anfield in the league is actually 51 games unbeaten, having being involved in a 1-1 draw in October 2015, while still playing for Southampton.

PL FACT: Daniel Sturridge's world class strike against Chelsea was his 50th Premier League goal for Liverpool. He is now the 7th player to achieve the milestone for the club, joining an elite group of players that includes Robbie Fowler (128), Steven Gerrard (120), Michael Owen (118), Luis Suarez (69), Fernando Torres (65), and️ Dirk Kuyt (51)

PL STATS: Liverpool FC set a new passing record in the Premier League era. 911 passes were attempted against Huddersfield, with an accuracy of 89%. The club is now in the top 5 for most passes completed in a single match in the Premier League since 2003, the record in that time belongs to Manchester City, completing 844 passes against West Bromwich Albion in October 2017.
Joel Matip also sets a new club record of 161 passes attempted in a single Premier League match, with 154 being completed.
