❤️

A huge thank you to the coaches at Vale of Leven 2017s for this absolutely amazing gift! 🥹

When I sponsored the team, I never expected anything in return. I was more than happy to support the boys and be able to give something back to the team, especially knowing how much football means to Jack and how much he enjoys being part of this team.💜

To have my LiveWell shirt framed alongside a photo of all the boys and the club badge is so special, and it’s something I’ll treasure. 🥹

Thank you for all the time, effort and commitment you put into the boys every week. They’re a fantastic bunch of kids and it’s lovely to see them enjoying their football, making memories and growing together. ⚽️

Thank you again, I love it! 💜

🔵 VALE BLUES 🔵

Delighted with the boys today! 👏⚽️

The most satisfying thing to watch today was the way the boys played as a team. They worked incredibly hard for each other, supported each other and played some really good passing football. It was a great team performance from start to finish. 💪

Captain Layton 🫡
Another fantastic performance from Layton. The commitment this young man shows every week is brilliant. Travelling 2/3 hours to training and games and back, and every single week he arrives with a smile on his face, gives his best and motivates the rest of the team. A brilliant example for the boys. 👏

MOTM – Max ⭐️
Max put in an outstanding performance today. He was brave taking players on, used his body really well to shield the ball and showed great aggression in the tackle.

These are all things we’ve been working hard on in training, so it was fantastic to see Max taking them into the game and putting them into practice. 💪⚽️

Well done boys! 👏👏👏

⚽️ Blues Saturday Matchday

A tough afternoon for the Blues today, getting absolutely battered by the wind and rain 🌧️💨 against a really good Glenvale team.

The boys came away with a 5-2 defeat, but there were plenty of good spells in the game and we scored two really good goals. Looking back, a few of the goals we conceded came from a bit of indecision at the back, something we’ll look to work on in training.

Similar to some of the other games today, we also need to be a bit more positive in front of goal. At times we’re trying to dribble through too many players when there are opportunities to get a shot away. Sometimes you just need to back yourself and have a go! 🎯⚽️

Lots to take from the game and plenty for the boys to keep working on. Well done lads! 👏🔵

Tough game again for the reds.

Lost 5-2 but we should have had more goals. Boys are doing really well. Just need the finishing touch to get more goals but they are tackling, passing, dribbling and creating chances which is good to see. We used to struggle to get out of our own half some games. So definite improvement.

Our 2018 helpers were great. And Connor got player of the match according to the opposition coaches so well done to him.

Thanks for everyone turning up in that wind and rain as well!

⚽️ Whites Matchday

Another really positive performance from the Whites today, narrowly losing out 3-2 against a very tough and physical Renfrew Vics side.

The boys created plenty of chances throughout the game, hitting the crossbar three times and also having a couple of 1v1 opportunities with the goalkeeper that we just couldn’t finish. We also had a third goal that was ruled out, which looked a little questionable from the sidelines! 😅

If we had just been that little bit calmer and more composed on the ball today, the game could have been a very different story. There were plenty of positives to take from the performance though, and the boys are continuing to show real improvement.

💪 Captain Fantastic and birthday boy Jax picked up Man of the Match today. A brilliant performance from Jax, who was strong, brave and positive on the ball throughout. A well-deserved award on his birthday! 🎂👏

And finally, on a day where the wind was without doubt the real winner 🌬️😂, the boys should be really proud of their performance.

Well done boys! 👏⚽️

🏆 TRAINER OF THE WEEK 🏆

🔴⚪ FRANKLYN 🔴⚪

A big congratulations to Franklyn, this week’s Trainer of the Week! 👏⚽️

Franklyn joined the team over the summer and has settled in brilliantly. He doesn’t look out of place at all and has quickly become a great addition to the squad.

He played his first game last weekend and absolutely smashed it! 💪🔥

He always gives his best effort at training, works hard and is constantly looking to improve. His attitude and commitment have been brilliant to see.

Keep up the great work, Franklyn! 💙

Well deserved! 🏆👏

🔴 Vale of Leven Reds | Matchday

Another tough loss for the Reds this week, against a very good side.

We know the scoreline doesn’t reflect it, but as coaches we can see a definite improvement in most of the players and we’re getting closer to being able to compete more regularly each week. We can see more of them trying to implement what we practise in training, which is really encouraging.

Franklyn played his first game today and was brilliant. Definitely ready to play every week in our opinion! 👏

Caelen was Captain this week and put in another solid performance. It’s 100% from him every week. 💪

Man of the Match: Jack L 🏆

Jack ran constantly, put in good tackles and tried to get us forward at every opportunity. A brilliant effort from him today!

Really happy to see the progress the boys are making. We know the results will come, and we couldn’t ask for any more effort from them.

Plenty to be proud of from them all today! ❤️

⚽️ Vale of Leven Whites | Matchday

Tough game for the Whites today, led by Captain Coire, against a very good Bishopton side. 🔴⚪️

We were unlucky not to get the win today, just getting pipped right at the end. Every single one of them gave it absolutely everything, and we couldn’t ask for any more from them as coaches. 💪

We couldn’t pick a standout today as every one of them played their part, but the Bishopton coaches picked Brayden as their POTM. 👏🏆

Plenty to be proud of from them all today. They showed great effort, determination and team spirit from start to finish.

Well done, boys! ❤️🤍

🔵⚪️ INTER-CLUB FRIENDLY 🔴⚪️

It was brilliant to see the Vale boys playing against each other, getting plenty of football and enjoying themselves along the way. The competitiveness was there, but more importantly, there were plenty of smiles, teamwork and good football on show. ❤️🤍

These nights are exactly what it’s all about, giving the boys the chance to play together, challenge each other and enjoy being part of the Vale. 👏⚽️

A great night for the Vale!!! 🔵⚪️
