🥹 I’ve been doing this job for 10 years this year & it’s moments like these that remind me why. When new people start and FEEL it. Feel the benefits of movement ✨ Feel stronger. Feel more motivated & confident. It’s life changing & i am SO happy & grateful i can be a small part of that for people and witness it first hand like in the lovely lady who gave me this card. FITNESS MAGIC ❤️✨

❤️ RACE DEBRIEF ❤️ The bit everyone really wants to know. First of the heat was ALOT. I started too fast then about half way really struggled which the heat definitely made worse. Took it easy for a bit and managed to finish pretty strong when i knew it was the last 3 miles I just had 5k in my head and pushed with everything I had left in the tank. Calf cramped up a bit and calf’s are what im feeling today so need to strengthen them up. Watch time 1.42 official time 1.44. But happy with both times and beat my 1.45 I got 2 years ago 🙌🏼 got a PB for 5k and 10k too. WE’LL TAKE IT 😬💪🏼

WHAT A BUZZ! Edinburgh Half Marathon Diaries ❤️🥹🥰 Days like yesterday restore your faith in humanity. There’s something about being in 1 place with that many people, all there for the same reason with the same goal to get to the finish line. The supporters all there cheering on loved 1s and support each other. Kids high five-ing with tubs of sweeties- Just love! You can’t help but smile through it even if it was bloody hard. And the amount of money raised for all the charities on top of that. It really is special. Biggest THANK YOU again to everyone who donated, sent messages, helped push me during training and just generally cheered for me 🥰 Well done everyone who ran yesterday, full marathon runners, just wow hats off to you 🏃🏻‍♀️🫡

🏃🏻‍♀️ 1/2 MARATHON IS THIS WEEK! Training will be gentle. Which I’m ready for. It’s been intense the last couple weeks & my body is ready for the down time. Lots of walking and stretching. Eating lots of nutritious foods and starting the carb load towards the end of the week. The weather is looking WARM at the moment, 21 degrees ☀️ hopefully comes down a bit. EXCITED!
