🩰✨ We’ve had some wonderful news while here at the Dance World Cup! ✨🩰

A huge congratulations to our beautiful Ceinwen Jones, who has successfully auditioned for the Young Dancer Associate Programme, where she will train once a month with teachers and dancers from the prestigious Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Last year, Ceinwen set herself a goal. Over the past year she has worked tirelessly in the studio, developing her technique, artistry and confidence, and today she has achieved exactly what she set out to do.

It’s a beautiful reminder of what can happen in just one year through dedication, consistency and believing in yourself.

Ceinwen, your entire Elevé family is so incredibly proud of you. We can’t wait to watch this next chapter of your journey unfold. Keep dreaming big, we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way 🖤✨

I’m sitting here this evening trying to find the words to describe how I feel, but honestly, there aren’t enough.

To watch my dancers step onto a world stage and represent their country is something I will hold with me forever. A little dance school from a small valley town, who have fought so hard in more ways than one, stood proudly on that stage today.

From my youngest dancer at just 4 years old, to my 11-year-olds, today they danced with heart, courage and everything Elevé stands for.

And then the most magical moment happened…
🥉 3rd Place in the World — Mini Classical Ballet Group
🌍 6th Place in the World — Neverlands Clock, Children’s Classical Ballet Group
3RD AND 6TH PLACE IN THE WORLD.

There have been so many tears today. My heart feels like it could burst into a million pieces.

Elevé is no longer just a small town dance school that just freshly started out just over two years ago…

Abercynon Dance School Heads To World Cup In Dublin 🎉👏

A small dance school from Abercynon is preparing to take the international stage by storm this week as they travel to Dublin for the prestigious Dance World Cup Championships.

The Elevè Academy of Dance is sending a talented squad of 31 dancers to represent Wales on the global stage. It is a massive achievement for the close-knit community hub, which has seen its performers dedicate countless hours to mastering their routines.

The dedication spans generations, with the team featuring three-year-old Luna, the youngest dancer in the squad, alongside eighteen-year-old Ella.

Under the expert guidance of their dance teacher, Miss Ellie, the children recently wrapped up their final, high-energy rehearsal before making the journey across the Irish Sea.

The send-off has been a true community effort, with a large group of proud parents and guardians gathering at the final rehearsal to cheer on the squad.

The academy is now calling on the wider community to back them as they prepare to wave the Welsh flag proudly in Ireland.

Aurora is only 5 years old and still in Reception, yet the confidence she has gained over the last two years is incredible.

She walked into Elevé as a very shy little girl, and now she loves performing on stage and is developing beautiful technique.

Our first ever Dance World Cup as a school.
Ten years ago to the date, I was leaving for my first ever Dancer World Cup. I remember how big that moment felt, how proud I was, and how much it meant to be part of something so special.

Today, I got to stand there… but this time with my own team.

Looking at this photo feels like a dream.

Every dancer in it has worked so hard, grown so much, and earned their place. I am beyond proud of each and every one of you.

Thank you for trusting me, for believing in Elevé, and for letting me be part of your journey.

From being the dancer in the kit… to watching my own students wear theirs.
