Something that has called me since I was a little girl was Beauty.

It sounds cliche but it’s so true.

Sailing is such a metaphor for life.

At its highest intensity.

It truncates learning.

Leaving the safe harbor after we've grown comfortable.

The fear of the unknown.

The moments of pure bliss when it feels like you're floating on the impossible.

And then the moments of pure panic when it feels like you won't make it.

Winds howling.

Anchors dragging.

No certainty.

Only the truth that you must rise.

Sailing is saying yes to the acceleration of life.

It is not running away.

It is not the easy way out.

It is the very embodiment of knowing that serenity is not freedom from the storm.

It is peace within the storm.

To thrust ourselves into this life in our fifties feels equal parts liberation and crazy.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Season 2 is teaching me refinement.

Simplicity.

An intimacy with life unlike anything I've known before.

Thank you, God.

Last night I was standing over the stove looking out the window and I was in awe.

That surreal feeling when you realize your perception of life has changed.

Not because life is perfect.

Not because I was on a boat.

But because of the intimacy with life.

Me standing there making dinner.

The dishes drying.

The sun setting.

Nothing extraordinary was happening.

And yet everything was happening.

This is what I think women are actually starving for.

Not more achievement.

Not another breakthrough.

Not another thing to fix.

An intimacy with creation itself.
An intimacy with ourselves.

A life that is actually being lived.

A life where beauty isn’t reserved for the vacation, the milestone, the promotion, the perfect body, or the next chapter.

Beauty was sitting right there beside the drying dishes.

And when I think about what I want to share with women now, it’s not:

“I wish I had a boat.”

I want women to look at what I’m experiencing and say:

“I want to feel that.”

The stillness.

The appreciation.

The intimacy with life.

The awareness that this moment matters.

That sunset matters.

That making dinner matters.

That loving and laughing matter.

That diving into the water and not saving your blowout matters.

One of the greatest illusions of the Unraveling Phase is the fear that life is getting smaller.

We begin to realize:

The soul is not removing life.

The soul is removing everything we mistakenly thought life was.

Because when money is life, losing momentum feels like death.

When validation is life, silence feels like death.

When achievement is life, rest feels like death.

When productivity is life, the void feels like death.

But when life itself becomes life…

When beauty becomes life…

When truth becomes life…

When love becomes life…

When creation becomes life…

Then money can simply be money.

Success can simply be success.

Visibility can simply be visibility.

None of them have to carry the unbearable burden of proving that we are alive.

Perhaps this is why beauty matters so deeply.

Not because beauty is decoration.

But because beauty is evidence of life.

A rose opening.

The sea moving.

A woman laughing.

A conversation that makes us cry.

A book.

A kiss.

A prayer.

Beauty keeps whispering:

“Life is here.”

The deeper invitation of the unraveling is not:

“Can I trust that I will succeed again?”

The deeper invitation is:

“Can I trust that life is infinitely larger than the things I have been using to measure it?”

Because in the end, the destination was never the money.

It was never the proof.

It was never the applause.

The destination was always this:

To fall so deeply in love with life that we can feel the pulse of creation moving through everything.

And from that place, desire does not disappear.

There is a phase in a woman’s life that we often mistake as failure.

Panicking and trying to force immediate external movement just to escape the discomfort, stops us from receiving the wealth in every phase.
