🎬 São Paulo – and what a night it was.

Our awards ceremony in Brazil brought the international tour of the 11th edition of MegacitiesShortdocs to a beautiful close.

Films about urban challenges and the people meeting them head-on, celebrated in one of the world's great cities.

Thank you to our Brazilian partners, to the audience, and to all the filmmakers who made this edition so special.

From Cannes to São Paulo – it's been quite a journey. 🌍🇧🇷

It's hard to put into words what these past few days have meant to us. Watching our filmmakers' stories unfold on screen in Cannes, seeing audiences connect with urban realities from the other side of the world, sharing those quiet conversations after a screening – these are the moments we live for.

None of this happens without the talent and courage of our filmmakers, who trusted us with their stories. None of it happens without the audiences, the partners, and the incredible community that has been built around this festival since 2014.

We are deeply grateful.

The adventure continues – next stop is São Paulo, then our international tour.

Since announcing our 11th edition results, we've had incredible screenings across France. Audiences in Paris, Vitry-sur-Seine, Arcueil, Lille, and Bordeaux have already experienced our Official Selection films, and the response has been wonderful.

Now, the journey continues:
🎭 Next stop: Festival de Cannes!
🇧🇷 Then: Awards ceremony in São Paulo, Brazil
🌍 Followed by our international tour starting with India, Singapore, and Dubai (security permitting).

These documentaries are reaching audiences around the globe, sharing stories of urban challenges and solutions that inspire change.
