The ACE Educators Course got underway yesterday afternoon, bringing together 15 participants committed to making a positive impact in schools and communities across Fiji.
The training commenced with a welcome address from FASANOC CEO Vanessa Kilner, who acknowledged the important role ACE Champions play in promoting Olympic values, education, and community engagement throughout the country. She encouraged participants to make the most of the opportunity to refresh their knowledge, strengthen their skills, and continue inspiring positive change in the communities they serve.
Led by trainers Fesaitu Mario, Makelesi Bulikiobo, and Josaia Tuinamata Koro, the course is designed to strengthen and upskill ACE Champions, ensuring they are equipped to continue delivering engaging and impactful outreach programmes.
With nearly five years since the last ACE training was conducted, this course provides an important opportunity for both active and returning ACE Champions to complete re-licensing requirements, refresh their knowledge, and further develop their skills as educators and community leaders.
Over the coming days, participants will gain practical tools and valuable insights to support their work in schools and communities, helping to extend the reach and impact of the ACE Programme across Fiji.
We wish all participants a successful training and look forward to seeing them continue to inspire and educate young people through sport and the Olympic values.
