Design Fiji’s King’s Baton for the 2026 Commonwealth Games!
Every Commonwealth nation receives its own King’s Baton, a powerful symbol of unity, culture and national pride to be showcased at the Commonwealth Games.

In 2026, the world turns to Glasgow… and now, it’s Fiji’s turn to shine.

We’re inviting artists, designers, students, craftsmen/women and creators across Fiji to submit a unique and inspired Baton design that celebrates who we are as a nation.

Your creation could be the one carried proudly during Fiji’s Baton Relay activation from 25 February – 2 March 2026 and displayed to the world at the Opening Ceremony on 23 July 2026.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We encourage creativity, innovation, and strong cultural expression. Your design should capture:
• Fiji’s identity, culture, and spirit
• Creative use of local materials, colours, and traditional
symbolism
• Themes of unity, diversity, and sustainability
• A design that can be realistically crafted by local artisans

THE WINNING DESIGN WILL
• Be brought to life by a local artist or craftsperson
• Be carried across Fiji during the King’s Baton Relay activation
• Be showcased globally at the 2026 Commonwealth Games

• Recognise the winning creator as part of Fiji’s Commonwealth

Marist women would like to thank all the women’s teams that had participated in the 2024 Marist Tournament, especially to Stingers and Ventures. You guys brought your A-game in every game we played against each other and made us work extra hard. This was anyone’s game, anyone’s victory, so all of us deserve to win.

Thank you so much to our favorite Coach .alora for your patience and commitment to our team. We appreciate you.

A heartfelt thank you to our other amazing coaches, Ana Fi and Aunty Margie, for leading most of our training sessions, fitness tests, and drills in preparation for the tournament. We also want to express our gratitude to our number one supporter, Uncle Johnny, who not only attends our training sessions but also offers any chauffer service as and when needed, who also cooks for us, and has been a steadfast presence throughout the years. Your dedication means so much to us.

We are so grateful and so blessed to have you all part of our victory.

This tournament was filled with emotions. We played our semis and final thinking of our two sisters. We did it for them. Love you both & .0

With 119 kids already registered and numbers growing each week, it’s clear that the excitement is building. But there's always room for more! Whether your child is a budding hockey star or just looking to have fun and learn, we’ve got something for everyone.

We provide all the necessary equipment; all we need is your child to bring their enthusiasm. Don’t miss out—join us for just $2 per child and be part of the action!
