What an incredible clinic! We all learnt so much and the 5 horses you worked with are already benefiting from the session.

There is so much to learn in this space and we're so grateful to you Stephanie!

Today we have an equine body work specialist coming to the Sanctuary at noon to teach us some basics of equine massage so we can provide better physio and rehabilitation work on our many disabled and rehabilitated horses at Sanctuary

We're all very excited to have Stephanie Kennedy owner of SpiritRides, New Zealand at the Sanctuary to learn all we can from her in the equine body work clinic!

The Sanctuary's partnership with Peace Corps Fiji is one we truly treasure. Each year, this long-standing collaboration gives us the chance to welcome incoming Peace Corps volunteers and share what we know, including:

Teaching horse and personal safety fundamentals, so volunteers know how to handle horses confidently and safely

Assessing each volunteer's basic ba****ck riding skills one-on-one

Demonstrating traditional Fijian herbal remedies used to treat common horse injuries

Sending volunteers off with our Sanctuary horse care posters to display in their village community halls

Its certainly a mutually beneficial partnership which we cherish - Vinaka!
