We are incredibly grateful for the 42 horse wormers donated to the Sanctuary horses by Raneah Marryatt Cameron Marryatt and Auckland Equine Performance Vet
Our 41horses at the Sanctuary will definitely benefit from these!
We're also grateful for the halters, lead ropes and pads. We continue to provide halters and bits to horses around Fiji for free, so thank you Raneah and Cam for helping us replenish supplies!
Do come and visit us again soon!
A massive VINAKA to you both!!

Hena has healed! 💛
After 18 months of recovery from a cruel, deliberate attack in Wailoaloa that left her with extremely severe chemical burns, Hena has healed.
She will now live at the Sanctuary for the rest of her life — safe, loved, and free from harm.
None of this would have been possible without our sponsor families and partners whose ongoing support gives Hena and all our horses a home built on love and care.
From the bottom of our hearts, vinaka.
A special mention and thanks to:

And many, many more of you - Vinaka!

From fear to trust — a journey of love
It's amazing to witness how much our rehabilitated horses have learned to trust, care and love people again.
We've watched horses arrive injured, abused, and terrified of human touch — and slowly, gently, transform into calm, gentle souls who lean into a hand instead of flinching from it.
That change doesn't happen on its own. It's taken the patience and heart of our team, our sanctuary families, the schools who visit, and every individual who's walked through our gates and chosen to show up with love.
To everyone who's been part of this journey — thank you. We are forever grateful. 💛

This week we were so fortunate in welcoming the BroadReach student to the Sanctuary!
We were honored when the BroadReach students requested to spent their Community Day in Fiji with us.
They spent the day showering tons of love on our neediest horses, while learning about the challenges Fiji faces in the basic understanding and education on horse care.
The students went on to give our horses heaps of snacks, groomed them and then walked them along the river. Afterwards they scrubbed and cleaned all of our paddock water troughs. We are so, so grateful they chose to spend their day with us!
Watching these students connect so naturally with the horses reminded our team why we absolutely love doing what we do, in rehabilitating these beautifulhorses, then connecting them with caring people, fulfilling and gently healing and soothing both horse and human.
Thank you, BroadReach students, for giving yourselves so fully to connecting and loving our horses.
Forever grateful and blessed.
We wish you all a safe journey back to your home country.
Sota tale.
