PPP Naila Rugby Club extends its heartfelt congratulations to Isikeli Rabitu on being named in the FIJI Water Flying Fijians squad for the Pacific Nations Cup (PNC).

This is a remarkable achievement and another major milestone in Isikeli’s rugby journey. His selection is a testament to his hard work, dedication, discipline, perseverance and commitment to the game.

Isikeli’s journey has been built through years of development and dedication, beginning with his schoolboy rugby days at Suva Grammar School, where he developed his skills and passion for the game. He continued to progress through the national pathway, earning selection for the Fiji U20 team, an important stepping stone in his development as a young Fijian rugby player.

From Suva Grammar School and Fiji U20 to the next level of his rugby career, Isikeli has continued to work hard and prove himself. His progress is a wonderful example of what can be achieved through determination, discipline and belief.

Today, seeing him named among the Flying Fijians is a proud moment not only for Isikeli and his family, but also for his community, supporters and everyone who has played a part in his rugby journey. His achievement serves as an inspiration to the young players coming through our grassroots rugby system.

A Proud Journey of Leadership – Luke Daunitutu Nakelo

The PPP Naila Rugby Club proudly congratulates Luke Daunitutu Nakelo, Captain of the Lelean Memorial School U18 Rugby Team, for his outstanding leadership, commitment and dedication throughout the 2026 Dean’s Rugby Competition.

From the Eastern Zone Competition, through the National Finals, and finally to the main Final, Luke led his team with courage, discipline and determination. As captain, he carried the responsibility with pride and represented his school, village, family and supporters with great honour.

Although Lelean Memorial School U18 went down to Suva Grammar School U18 by 36–21 in the Final, this result does not take away from the remarkable journey Luke and his teammates have achieved.

Luke, you have made everyone in Naila Village, as well as your family members, relatives and supporters throughout Fiji and around the world, extremely proud and happy with your achievements. Your leadership and performance have inspired many young people who look up to you.

This is not the end of the journey—it is only the beginning. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger, wiser and better.

Keep your head high, Captain Luke. Learn from this experience, continue working hard, and keep believing in yourself. Your rugby journey has only just begun, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for you.

Appreciation to Our Tailevu Boys

The PPP Naila Rugby Club proudly extends our sincere appreciation and congratulations to our two young warriors, Semesa Rokosuka and Osea Rabitu, for representing Tailevu Rugby in their Provincial Cup matches against Nadroga at Ratu Cakobau Park yesterday.

🏉 Semesa Rokosuka featured for the Tailevu U20 side, starting at flanker, and gave a committed performance despite the team going down 25–17.

🏉 Osea Rabitu proudly represented the Tailevu Senior Team at tighthead prop, contributing strongly as the team battled to a 25–25 draw against Nadroga.

We would also like to acknowledge Osea Rabitu, who has been recruited by the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and is now part of the Army FTG side. Although Osea has moved forward in his rugby journey, his former club, PPP Naila Rugby Club, continues to embrace and appreciate the commitment, dedication and contribution he has made to our club. We are proud to see one of our former players progressing both on and off the rugby field.

To Semesa and Osea, keep your heads high, continue working hard and carry the lessons from every match forward. Your journey is still unfolding, and greater opportunities lie ahead.

The PPP Naila Rugby Club extends its heartfelt congratulations to Luke Daunitutu Nakelo, Captain of the Lelean U18 Rugby Team ( #8), for his outstanding leadership and contribution in securing a remarkable 26–5 victory over Ratu Navula College in the Quarterfinals of the Super Dean’s Competition.

Luke’s leadership, determination, discipline, and commitment on and off the field continue to demonstrate the qualities of a true young leader. His performance and ability to inspire his teammates have been instrumental in guiding the Lelean U18 team through to the Semifinals.

As a proud member of the PPP Naila Rugby Club, Luke continues to represent our club with great pride and distinction. We are extremely proud of his achievements and the leadership he has displayed at this level of competition.
