"EMPOWERING YOUTH THROUGH SPORTS" To achieve this, development-through-sport will target two of these strategic goals:
1. Improved social cohesion.

The overall purpose of Natokowaqa Topline PRB Youth development-through-sport assistance is to develop healthier and more inclusive communities through sport. Saving lives – by improving health-related behaviors to reduce the risk of non-communicable diseases
2. Promoting opportunities for all –by improving the quality of life of people with disability. However, given the characteristics of sport

PUBLIC RENTAL ESTATE SPORTS DAY – NATOKOWAQA

It was a privilege to be part of the Public Rental Estate Sports Day at Natokowaqa, bringing together families and communities from the Western PRB estates — Natokowaqa, Simla, Vakatora, Golf Links, Natabua and Votualevu PRB Housing.

Through Youth and Sports Empowering Network (YASEN), we were pleased to give back by donating 5 cartons of soft drinks in support of the event and our communities.

I will never forget where I come from. I grew up and lived within the PRB community, and I understand what it means for families living on lower incomes. No matter where life takes us, it is important that we remember our roots and continue giving back to the communities that helped shape us.

We sincerely thank the Public Rental Board for continuing to provide housing and support to our families. A special acknowledgement to Ms. Leba, Manager West, for her leadership and for bringing our Western PRB communities together.

Sports are more than competition — they bring our families together, strengthen friendships and build stronger communities.

We may come from humble beginnings, but our beginnings do not determine how far we can go. Never forget where you came from, and when you are able, give back.

Vinaka vakalevu PRB Western Community.

YASEN | Empowering the Natokowaqa Youth.

Today, YASEN had the privilege of distributing industrial tools to the youth of Natokowaqa.

Many of these young men and women already possess valuable skills—they simply lacked the tools to put those skills to work. Thanks to the generosity of a 72-year-old Australian gentleman, who collected these tools from items others had thrown away and shipped them to Fiji, these tools now have a new purpose.

One person's trash is another person's gold.

This is more than a tool distribution; it is about restoring dignity, creating opportunity, and empowering our youth to build a better future for themselves, their families, and our community.

At YASEN, Founder Mr. Viliame Naulivou said, we believe that when we serve people, we create impact. When we create impact, we build trust. And trust produces leadership.

"Service → Impact → Trust → Leadership."

Together, let's continue transforming lives—one tool, one skill, and one opportunity at a time.

A Day of Kindness, Dignity, and Community Service.

While many observed the Ratu Sukuna Holiday as a day of rest, for us it became a day of compassion in action.

Today, Mrs. Adi Vukivuki Rokotakala (79), Fiji’s first female police officer and a courageous cancer survivor from Yasawa, was blessed with a new mobility walker through the support of Turaga ni Mataqali Botelaki, Tokatoka Naocotabua, Mr. Viliame Naulivou, in the presence of Tuirara Levu Mr. Saukuru Nagi and Mrs. Irene Galo.

For some, a walker may seem like a simple gift. But for Mrs. Rokotakala, it represents renewed independence, dignity, comfort, and hope.

She once shared that when attending Social Welfare appointments, she often struggled to stand in long queues with her old walking aid. Village meetings were also difficult, as sitting on the floor for extended periods became a challenge. Today, that burden has been eased. Her new walker comes with a built-in seat, allowing her to rest whenever needed, whether waiting in line, attending meetings, or simply moving about her daily life.

The joy and gratitude on her face reminded us that true leadership is not measured by titles, but by service. It is found in caring for those who can no longer carry life’s burdens alone.

📖 “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after widows and those in need in their distress.” — James 1:27

As a community, we are reminded that our elderly are living treasures. They have paved the way for future generations through sacrifice, service, and perseverance. They deserve not only our respect but also our practical support.

This act of kindness reflects the heart of the work being pursued through YASEN (Youth and Sports Empowered Network) — building stronger communities by caring for the vulnerable, empowering families, and restoring hope where it is needed most.

May this small gesture inspire others to look around their communities and ask:

“Who can I help today?”

Because sometimes the greatest gift is not money or possessions—it is restoring dignity, one life at a time.

Serving People. Honouring Elders. Sharing God’s Love.

Vinaka Vakalevu to everyone who continues to make a difference in the lives of others.

TOPLINE COMMUNITY CELEBRATES A HISTORIC NIGHT OF UNITY, SPORT & LEGACY.

The Topline community came together in a powerful and memorable evening to officially celebrate the handover of the new Topline Netball uniforms and Topline Rugby Club neck ties, symbolizing a new chapter of pride, discipline, and community identity.

The gathering brought together players, families, mothers, elders, supporters, and community leaders — all united under one vision: building stronger youth, stronger sport, and a stronger community.

The evening was especially meaningful as the official handover was supported through the partnership and leadership of the Youth and Sports Empowered Network (YASEN), whose commitment to youth empowerment through sport continues to make a real difference.

A special moment of the night was the recognition of our community mothers and grandmothers, whose unwavering prayers, encouragement, and support continue to be the backbone of the Topline movement.

The unveiling of the new Topline Netball uniforms, proudly worn by the team, alongside the elegant Topline Rugby Club neck ties, represented more than apparel — they represented identity, unity, respect, excellence, and legacy.

A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to Vanessa, proud sponsor of the Topline Netball uniforms, for her generous support and belief in our young women athletes.

Special appreciation also goes to BLK Kingdom for the surprise donation, demonstrating true partnership and commitment to community sport development.

The official handover was led by the YASEN leadership team, standing in support of community transformation through sports development.

As seen in the group photo, this was not simply an event — it was a declaration:

One Community. One Family. One Legacy.

Topline continues to stand as a symbol of resilience, discipline, and hope for the next generation.

A TRIBUTE TO THE HEART OF OUR COMMUNITY

In every strong movement, there are people whose presence speaks louder than words — people whose love, sacrifice, and unwavering support become the foundation of success.

Today, we honour one such remarkable woman.

Mrs. Ilisapeci Dolobula — a respected community mother, grandmother, and the proud Patron of Topline Netball.

Though she may walk with assistance, her spirit walks stronger than many. Her heart, commitment, and love for our youth movement remain powerful and inspiring.

She reminds us that true strength is not measured by physical ability, but by the willingness to stand with your people, believe in the vision, and continue showing up with love.

For years, our mothers and grandmothers have been the silent pillars behind Topline Rugby and Topline Netball — praying, encouraging, cooking, supporting, fundraising, and standing beside us through every challenge and every victory.

Mrs. Dolobula represents every mother and grandmother whose heart beats for community empowerment.

As the Patron for Topline Netball, her support is more than ceremonial — it is deeply personal, heartfelt, and genuine.

This movement is not just about sport.

It is about:
🔥 Family
🔥 Legacy
🔥 Youth Empowerment
🔥 Community Strength
🔥 Standing together across generations

To our beloved mothers and grandmothers — Vinaka Vakalevu.

Your sacrifices are seen.
Your prayers are felt.
Your love keeps this movement alive.

“Even with a walker… the heart still leads the movement.” ❤️
