After a fantastic 11 days with us, our temporary guests have packed up and headed home. It was an absolute pleasure looking after them during their stay!

At El Acebuche Stables, we offer far more than just livery. We provide a peaceful, professional, and caring environment where horses can truly thrive.

Due to continued demand and our intentionally limited capacity, a small number of livery spaces will become available from the end of September.

Located just outside of Baza in the beautiful province of Granada, our family run yard is surrounded by thousands of hectares of the stunning Sierra de Baza Nature Reserve, making it a paradise for hacking and endurance riding.

With over 35 years of professional equestrian experience including breeding Arabian and sport horses, managing equestrian centres and stud farms across two continents, and caring for everything from elite competition horses to much loved retired companions your horse's wellbeing is always our highest priority.

💛 At El Acebuche Stables, every horse is treated as an individual, never just a number.

We cater for:
• Happy hackers and leisure riders
• Endurance horses
• Youngsters, broodmares and stallions
• Retired horses enjoying their golden years
• Horses requiring rehabilitation or recovery care
• Holiday livery or bring your horse and explore the spectacular Altiplano.

🌿 WHY HORSES LOVE IT HERE

Our horses live as naturally as possible in a calm, stress-free environment. They enjoy daily turnout all year round even our stallions.

🏡 FACILITIES INCLUDE

• Large, secure paddocks with shelters
• Individual paddocks for stallions
• Spacious, safe stables when needed (although all our horses currently live out)
• Outdoor arena for schooling and lunging
• Secure tack room
• Separate feed room and wash area.
• Crush for when the vet visits
• Access to an excellent farrier and equine osteopath.
• High quality feed, with plenty of hay throughout the year and seasonal grazing (grazing is naturally unavailable during the summer months)
• Fitness and conditioning programmes can be available by arrangement with Ondine

We deliberately keep only a small number of horses so we can provide genuine one to one care, individual attention, 24/7 supervision, and complete peace of mind for every owner.

Holiday Horses Update 🐴💚
Our holiday horses have settled in so well! They're looking extremely relaxed, happy, and are really enjoying their stay with us 💕. They've especially loved having the company of the liveries around them, making plenty of new friends and settling into the daily routine.
It's always lovely to see holiday horses feeling so at home away from home while their owners are away. 🥰

🐴 Our first lot of holiday horses have arrived! 🌿

The first two of our holiday guests have settled in beautifully. After arriving, they enjoyed a good roll, tucked into plenty of hay and spent some time taking in the views.

It's been a hot morning , but they're looking relaxed, happy, and right at home already. There's nothing better than seeing horses settle so quickly into their holiday routine.

We're looking forward to welcoming more holiday guests over the coming days! ❤️.
