Vučko is the Olympic mascot of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
The mascot is a wolf, many of which live in the Dinaric Alps, where Sarajevo is located.Through his smiling, frightened or serious facial expressions, Vučko gave the wolf a friendly appearance, helping to transform the often fierce image which the animal previously enjoyed.

Vučko remains one of the most iconic and beloved Olympic mascots in history, capturing the hearts of millions with his charming, approachable design

An earlier prototype of a dachshund mascot for Munich 1972 “Lumpi” was manufactured by German company Knautschi. Made of beanie-bag type material and including a white leather tag with Olympic rings and “1972 Munchen” printed below.

And Waldi- the first official mascot in the history of the Olympic Summer Games. He is a dachshund, a very popular animal in Bavaria, famed for its endurance, tenacity and agility. The mascot features several different colours: its head and tail are light blue, with a striped body featuring at least three of the six Olympic colours.

Noggi- first Paraolympic mascot from 1980 Paraolympic Games held in Arnhem , Holland.

Noggi and Joggi are the first official mascots created for the Paralympic Games.
They are two squirrels wearing uniforms which had the logo of the Arnhem 1980 Games.

Squirrels were the perfect mascots for the Arnhem 1980 Games because they were commonly found near the National Sports Centre Papendal, which staged some of the competition. Squirrels get many hard nuts to crack in their lifetimes, just like Paralympians as athletes and persons with disabilities who face challenges in life.

Athena and Phevos were the official mascots of the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens, Greece.
Athena and Phevos are one of the few examples of anthropomorphic mascots in the history of the Olympics ,Phevos and Athena are brother and sister.
They owe their strange shape to a typical terracotta doll in the shape of a bell from the 7th century BC.

Here is small Phevos with the sign and basketball player Phevos from Athens 2004.
