Algodoneros Manager Ramon Santiago congratulate his players today after their 12-10 win over the Saraperos de Satillo clinched a birth in the LMB playoffs. Ramon took over as Manager of the Algodoneros of Torreon the end of June when they had posted a record of 29-33 the first half of the season. Since Ramon took over the helm, the Algodoneros went 17-14, ending 46-47 for the regular season. After clinching the playoff spot, the Algodoneros played in the second game of a doubleheader today, beating the Saraperos again 2-1.

Ramon consults with Algodeneros shortstop Didi Gregorius after fouling a ball sharply off of his ankle during tonight's 7-4 win against the Durango Caliente in Torreon, Mexico. Gregorius walked off the pain and stayed in the game.
