After a commanding victory over Bath Estate FC in their last game Promex Harlem United went into their match against Dublanc Football Club full of confidence that they could pull of a victory against the Three times defending Champions on Thursday 13th August 2026.

Promex Harlem United started of on the front full and it look like they meant business. However Dublanc FC playing at home with their home crowd behind them began to grow into the match. Both teams created a few chances in the first half, but Dublanc came the closest to scoring.

It was Dublanc who got the opener from a direct Freekick by Savio Anslem in the first half, Promex Harlem United failed to take their chances to equalize in the first half to go into the interval down one goal to nil.

In the second half Promex Harlem United was the better team putting Dublanc FC under constant pressure but failed to score any of their opportunities hitting the post shooting of target on good scoring opportunities.

They were made to pay for their wastefulness when Felix Anslem found the back of Harlem goal last in the second half to secure the 2 goals to nil victory and maintain Dublanc's winning streak to begin the season.

Promex Harlem United got a commanding 4 goals to 1 victory over arch rivals Bath Estate Football Club on Sunday 9th August 2026 at the DFA Technical Training Center in StockFarm.

Its was a timely and important win for Harlem. This was their best footballing display of the season, as they had the majority of ball possession with constructive attacking play.

Two goals each in the first half of play from Captain Aeron Prince and Tyrese Jnobaptiste gave Promex Harlem United the all important victory. Konrad Simon also had an outstanding performance and was named Player of the match.

Harlem United Sports Club Premier Team Promex Harlem United used the weekend break of Sunday 28th June 2026 after the first round of Premier matches to do some reflection, Team bonding and some Beach training.

The Team was transported to the Layou Beach where they did some reflection on the first round then proceeded to do just over one hour of training where players made several up and down the length of the Beach, did their stretches and some short sprints, had a short break before they went into several 3v3 small sided 5 minutes games. After which they did a fifteen minutes workout in the sea.

They were treated to some fine cuisine prepared by the management staff. Then unto the Layou River for a fresh water bath.

The Executive and Management will like to thank the following, for their contribution in making the day a success.

Harlem United expresses its profound disappointment regarding the cancellation of the rescheduled Premier League fixture between Harlem United and We United due to the unavailability of match balls.

The responsibility for ensuring that all requirements are in place for the successful staging of Premier League matches rests solely with the Dominica Football Association. The absence of match balls, one of the most basic necessities for the conduct of a football match, represents a significant failure in planning, preparation, and administration is completely unacceptable.

Equally troubling are reports that there was no Match Commissioner present for the fixture and that the assistant referees had departed the venue before the match was officially called off. Such circumstances raise serious concerns about the standards, protocols, and level of organization being applied to the management of the nation's premier football competition.

Players, coaches, club officials, sponsors, and supporters invest considerable time, effort, and resources into the game. They deserve a league that is administered professionally and efficiently, with proper attention given to the fundamental requirements necessary to conduct a match.

The cancellation of a Premier League fixture in 2026 due to the lack of match balls is unacceptable. It reflects poorly on the administration of the competition and undermines the credibility of football in Dominica. Incidents of this nature damage the confidence of clubs, supporters, sponsors, and the wider football community.

Harlem United calls on the Dominica Football Association to provide a full explanation of the circumstances that led to this unfortunate situation and to implement the necessary measures to ensure that such an occurrence is never repeated.

The development of football in Dominica requires accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. The football community deserves nothing less.
