Stage 2 recap – Window & Lumber

Another fantastic stage and another result I’m really happy with.

Stage 2 delivered 9/10 impacts, and I felt like I executed the plan really well from start to finish. The stage had us working between two positions and engaging targets at 325 m and 350 m, with one of the challenges being the smallest target on the stage — just 10 × 10 cm.

Getting the hit on that tiny target was definitely one of the highlights. Everything felt controlled, the positions worked well, and I was able to keep delivering solid shots throughout the stage.

A really strong performance and another great result to build on.

Stage 1 recap – Skill Stage 🇩🇰

Couldn’t have asked for a much better start to the European Pro Match Denmark.

Stage 1 was the Skill Stage and also the very first stage of the match for Squad 1, so it was a great feeling to start the weekend with 9/10 impacts and finish 12th overall on the stage.

The stage gave us 10 shots from 5 positions, engaging two targets at 381 m and 352 m. I felt comfortable from the start, moved well between the positions and managed to keep the shooting controlled all the way through.

I’m absolutely buzzing after Day 2. My performance today was without a doubt my best so far with the .308.

I managed to clean three stages! and finally got the ballistics dialed in on the really long-range shots.

After this weekend, my confidence is at an all-time high, and I’m really looking forward to the next month of preparation before heading to Texas.

In short, an absolutely fantastic day – and the best single day of shooting I’ve had so far with my Strasser RS700 in .308.

The RS700 performed as always, my were perfect for the job, and my pro chassis simply fits me perfectly and delivers every single time.

There’s still a Day 2 to come, so more on that later. For now, the plan leading up to the World Championship is going exactly as planned.

For this stage, I dialed 1.2 mils of left wind before starting.

The stage featured two targets at different distances. T3 was at 490 meters, where I used 3.6 mils of elevation with no additional wind hold beyond my dialed wind. T7 was at 572 meters, where I dialed 4.7 mils of elevation.

On my first engagement of T7, I added an extra 0.2 mil of left wind on top of the 1.2 mil already dialed. However, after seeing the impact, I realized the additional hold wasn’t needed. The second time I engaged T7, I simply held center with only the 1.2 mil dialed wind, and that proved to be the correct solution.

The stage required alternating between the two targets arrays from two different rooftop positions. Building stable positions quickly while remembering the correct elevation and wind solution for each target was the key to staying efficient and avoiding unnecessary corrections.

Stage 2 – 380 m

For this stage, I dialed 2.4 mils of elevation and 0.7 mil left wind. The wind was coming from 9 o’clock at approximately 4 m/s, giving me a solid full-value wind hold.

The stage required engaging the same target array from five different barricade positions, with a different target assigned to each position and two shots fired from each. The challenge wasn’t the distance—it was quickly building a stable position and identifying the correct target.

Stage 1 – 325 m

My initial solution was 1.8 mil elevation and 0.6 mil left wind which I dialed for. The wind was measured as a full-value 9 o’clock wind at approximately 3.5 m/s. Looking back, the elevation was slightly high, but the wind call was very close to what the conditions required.

The challenge on this stage was less about ballistics and more about efficiently transitioning between the high and low shooting positions while keeping track of the changing target sequence.
