Papasidero,
is a village and comune in the province of Cosenza in the Calabria region, southern Italy. It is part of Pollino National Park.
Humans have occupied the area since prehistoric times, as confirmed by an important archaeological site, LaGrotta Romito, discovered in 1961. The historical centre has a typically medieval urban style. It was built over the 12th and 13th centuries. From Lombard beginnings, it became a fortress castle in the Sveva Norman period (1190–1250) and was expanded under the Angevins in the 14th century, and under Aragon (from 1400 to 1500).

Cascata Ficara
The Ficara waterfall is part of the Valle del Fiume Argentino nature reserve, and is fed by the water brought from the Ficara canal. In this area there are various animals, including roe deer, wild boars, foxes and hares.

Orsomarso,
nestled in the Mediterranean maquis, lies in the Argentino River Valley and offers its visitors many magical sights, starting with the iconic Clock Tower that dominates the village from the top of the tufa rock on which it was built.

One of the highlights of the Orsomarso area are the numerous caves of karstic origin, which can be reached in a few minutes from the elegant old town. The most impressive is undoubtedly the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, a natural cavern in which a stone statue of the Virgin Mary has been placed. Also not to be missed is the small San Giovanni Battista Church, built on the remains of a medieval chapel and guarding valuable paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Diamante
A peculiar characteristic of Diamante are its Murals. Many of these can be found on the outside walls of houses and several of them are centuries old, dating back to the Renaissance. Because of its position Diamante was ravaged by Saracens several times during history. Some of these invasions are documented by the wall paintings.

Spiaggia della grotta della scala
Grotta della Scala Beach is a small, intimate cove of sand and pebbles located in Acquafredda di Maratea (Potenza), in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. Created in 1894 during the construction of the railway, it offers crystal-clear waters, an equipped beach club, a free public beach area, and is famous for its spectacular sunsets.

Skywalk Maratea
The Skywalk is a suspended terrace located in Cersuta di Maratea, along the Strada Statale 18, at the scenic spot known as Apprezzami l'Asino, where the deep blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea meets the infinite sky. Visitors can admire the stunning natural scenery of the cliffs of Maratea and the Gulf of Policastro. Every step towards the horizon provides a feeling of floating between the sky and the sea, offering a panoramic view of extraordinary beauty.

The Statue of Christ the Redeemer of Maratea (Italian: Cristo Redentore di Maratea) is a statue of Jesus Christ in Maratea, southern Italy, realized in Carrara marble on the top of the Mountain “St. Biagio".
This is the third tallest statue of Jesus in Europe, after Christ the King in Świebodzin, Poland and Cristo-Rei (Christ the King) in Lisbon, and sixth-largest in the world. It is 21,20 metres high, the head is 3 metres in height and the arm-span is 19 metres from finger tip to finger tip.

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me exactly why I love trail running. 🌲⛰️

20 km at Bílá with Běhej lesy. Heat, climbs, trails, and views that made every uphill worth it.

But the best part wasn’t my own race.

It was watching my friends cross the finish line in their first 5K and first-ever 20K trail. Seeing them step outside their comfort zone, trust the process, and discover they’re capable of more than they believed—that’s what makes coaching so rewarding.

Medals fade. Times are forgotten.

Confidence, memories, and the feeling of “I actually did it” stay forever.
