We are quick to cry “fe:micide,” but we must also confront the wider tragedy of homicid.e.
Men die. Women die. Behind every victim is a family left with grief, questions, and a pain that may never disappear. A human life should never become a competition over which gender deserves more sympathy.
If we truly want to stop the killing, we must face the uncomfortable realities behind it: domestic conflict, jealousy, betrayal, abuse, revenge, trauma, poverty, toxic relationships, and years of unresolved pain.
Because homic.ide rarely begins with the final act. The final moment may last seconds, but the anger, humiliation, threats, resentment, fear, and suffering behind it may have been building for years.
A dead man is not less dead because he is a man. A dead woman is not more human because she is a woman. A life is a life.
Let us stop choosing sides long enough to understand the problem. Let us mourn without prejudice, investigate without bias, and hold perpetrators accountable without excuses.
The goal is not to prove whether men or women suffer more.
The goal is to stop people from dying.
Because behind every homi.cide is not just a statistic, but a human story—and often, a cry for help that society heard too late.

YOUNG PLAYERS WHAT'S FIRST TOUCH?
First touch is the way a player controls the ball the first time it comes to him or her.
It is the first contact you make with the ball after receiving a pass.
Why Is First Touch Important?
1. It Gives You Control
A good first touch keeps the ball close to you.
2. It Saves Time
Football is a fast game.
A good first touch helps you move, pass, or shoot quickly.
3. It Creates Space
With a good first touch, you can move the ball away from a defender and create space for yourself.
4. It Builds Confidence
When you control the ball well, you feel confident and calm.
5. It Improves Team Play
If you control the ball properly, you can make better passes to your teammates.
Great players Luka Modrić and Toni Kroos are known for excellent first touch. It helps them control the game and make quick decisions.
