“Your body allows you to experience this life on earth, your job is to take care of it, keep it healthy.
Your mind gives you the ability to think and learn, your job is to train it, develop its capacity.
Your soul is the essence of who you are, your job is to listen to it, let it guide you.”

« How am I feeling today ? »
In my country, whenever we met someone, even walking on the streets, we ask them how they are feeling. To be honest it is more cultural than anything else. As often, we both just kept on walking and don’t really take time to listen to each other answers or we both answer « fine », even though it might not be the case.
Nevertheless, I realized that a lot of us doesn’t ever ask this question to ourself. And if we do, we don’t take enough time to truly answer it. So I started to ask it to myself regularly and I even add it at the beginings of my classes.
Giving a few moment for everyone to ask and answer this question for themselves in their own mind, might seem silly at first. Simple often seems silly. But it’s a powerful tool to bring more awareness in our practice or daily life in general. It allows us to gently connect deeper with ourself and give us the space to put words on our emotions and feelings.
So if today you haven’t asked yourself yet, this is your reminder. Close your eyes and gently ask yourself
« How am I feeling today ? ». Take all the time you need to answer with kindness and without any kind of judgement 🩵
Have a beautiful week 🦋

There is a book, that a very clever soul send me some years ago, called “Letting go : The Pathway of Surrender” that have been making me think a lot lately.
It took me ages to finish, as the more I was reading, the more I was thinking and more and more things were clicking in my head. Then this often led me to get confused because I was just following my thoughts in all directions and I ending up needed to start and start the whole paragraph or even sometimes chapter again.
For today, as I was trying to push myself to stay consistent in posting on this account, one passage came back to me. The author is gently answering to a woman who doesn’t understand why even though she has been on a spiritual path for many years, she still get caught by negative emotions. And his answer was as follow :
“People get annoyed that they still have negative feelings, and then it’s compounded by their guilt and self-frustration. They have to realize that feelings are transitory, whereas their intention to evolve remains constant.”
Extract p.223, “Letting go : The Pathway of Surrender” by David R. Hawkins.
We have a saying in French that goes like “C’est l’intention qui compte” (it is the intention that counts.), that we use mainly with objects. Using it with our feelings gave it a whole new dimension to allow ourselves to acknowledge our emotions while keeping in mind that they are just emotions and as though they come and go while our intention remains.
I will definitely share more of this book with you here in the upcoming weeks…
Wishing you all a lovely day 🦋

A GUIDE TO FINDING TRUTH:
“Dear Meditators, don’t accept something just because you’ve always heard it.
Don’t accept something simply because it’s a tradition passed down through generations.
Don’t accept something just because it’s been repeated for ages.
Don’t accept something simply because it aligns with scriptures or sacred texts.
Don’t accept something just because it seems logical or rational.
Don’t accept something just because you feel emotionally attached to it.
Don’t accept something simply because a respected teacher or leader has said it.
Don’t accept something just because it’s proclaimed by someone with authority or charisma.
But Meditators, when you’ve explored it for yourself, and found it to be good, kind, and beneficial -bringing peace and wellbeing to yourself and others- then embrace it and live by it”

I remember how hard were my first encounters with meditation. My mind was constantly wandering around, any kind of thoughts would suddenly appears and my imagination was following them, playing with them, and soon I was drifted towards a complete day dreaming.
I thought meditation wasn’t for me, my concentration was so little, I got quite easily dispersed. Until one day, I realized it was exactly the opposite: I needed to practice the stillness, I needed to create more focus, I needed to get in control of my mind.
I’m still in the learning process, and I will always be, but I made peace with my wandering mind. It is said our mind are like monkeys, jumping from one things to the others. Thoughts and emotions would constantly arise but our real job is what we do with them. Do you let them guide you or do you take back the control of your mind ?
Today, while following a guided meditation the teacher said something that resonates so deeply with me :
“Allow any thoughts or emotions that comes up to be like a little bubble, peacefully floating away” 🫧
In this special month of peace and gratitude, I wish us all to become more aware of the rise of our emotions and more in control of our mind, words and actions 🤲

Until now I was a bit shy, but it’s time for me to release the news 🗞
I made my first website 🦋
While working on it, I realized I needed a logo that was clear enough to read on the page, so here it is…
What do you think ? Please check it out, it’s a first draft so I’m open to constructive feedbacks.
I started to understand that if I waited for it to be perfect, I might never put it on… I guess there is no better time that now, and you could easily translate this to anything in your life…
With love, Morgane

My Yoga Journey 💫
I discovered Yoga through my first 200 YTT in Goa, India in 2019. Learning not only about movements, but as well about philosophy, breathing techniques and meditation. I felt like a whole new world just opened its doors to me.
I went to follow a 10 days Vipassana retreat to deeper my knowledge on meditation the same year.
While I was living in Egypt, during the past few years, I started my teaching journey. I was lucky to teach in a local gym and working with like-minded Egyptians around the country in diverse retreats about wellbeing.
Seeing the various positive effects that the practice of Yoga had not only on my mind and on my body but as well on my students, I decided to get deeper in the path of Yoga.
Last month I completed my 300 YTT in Nepal, surrounded by the beautiful Himalayas. Strengthening my love for the practice and reinforcing my desire to share it even more…
I realised I need to stay a student forever in order to become a good teacher. Leading not only by words and movements but through mindfulness and love 📿
