We’re excited to share that aircheck. has been nominated for the IBC Innovation Awards 2026 in the Content Creation category for setting new standards across media and entertainment.

Together with WDR/ARD Sportschau and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), we’ve been recognised for our AI-enhanced agentic AutoCut for audio highlights.

The project redesigns our aircheck. platform to help broadcasters create football commentary highlights in minutes instead of hours while keeping editors fully in control.

Now in use for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the platform demonstrates how AI can support live sports production under real broadcast conditions.

SRF behind the Scenes

This week, we visited SRF Radio Hall in Zurich, where radio programs broadcast live every day. 📻

Instead of just hearing about how our client works, we were able to experience it firsthand. 🎙️

Looking into the day-to-day radio business in real time and on site helped us understand what it takes to make it all happen. Seeing Céline Werdelis moderating SRF3, reacting to listener input, and adapting the program quickly was especially impressive.

That’s exactly why visits like these matter to us. The best solutions come from spending time with our customers, seeing their day-to-day operations firsthand, and understanding the challenges they face. It helps us build solutions that fit the way they actually work.

Wake up at 5 AM and run 5K before work? Also no problem for our team. 💪🏽

This morning, some of our team members joined the wake up and run event in Fribourg, running 5 km at 5:30 AM before heading to the office. 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽

Not exactly our usual morning routine, but definitely a good way to start the day. Safe to say: we are awake, energized and ready for work (and also the weekend of course). 🌞

The FIFA World Cup starts today. The first matches are kicking off and millions of fans around the world are ready for the next month of football. ⚽

But while the audience sees the highlights, a lot has to happen behind the scenes first. In live sports production, every minute counts. Teams need to identify the key moments and turn it into something ready to publish. 🎙️

The collaboration began during the COVID-19 period, when broadcasters needed faster ways to bring football audio highlights and goal celebrations to fans watching from home. After further development for UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, deliver.media, WDR/ARD Sportschau and the EBU rebuilt aircheck in early 2026 with support from the EBU Innovation Fund and WDR. Tested throughout the latest Bundesliga season, the platform shows how AI can speed up repetitive tasks while supporting editorial storytelling.
