Today, we celebrate not only the birthday of our Chief Instructor in Switzerland, but the remarkable woman and martial artist who continues to inspire all of us.

Sa Bom Nim Petra is fearless. Strong. Determined.

She is a woman who does not shy away from challenges, who faces obstacles head-on, and who constantly strives for something greater. Her strength is not only found in her technique or her lifetime achievements - it is found in her will to grow, to lead, and to care about her students.

As martial artists, we learn that the path is never about being perfect. It is about having the courage to keep walking, the discipline to keep training, and the strength to stand back up whenever we fall.

Sa Bom Nim Petra embodies that spirit.

She challenges us to push beyond what we believe we can do. She sets high standards because she believes in our potential. Her journey, her determination, and her passion for Tang Soo Do are an inspiration to our entire community.

📌 Training Session In Langmatt Museum's Stunning Garden

Yesterday, something artistic happened!

Langmatt is one of Baden's historic treasures, rich in history, culture, and beauty. After several years of careful renovation, the museum reopened in May 2026 and now welcomes visitors to an exceptional collection of around 50 masterpieces by some of the greatest French Impressionist artists, including Cassatt, Cézanne, Degas, Gauguin, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, and Sisley. This remarkable collection was assembled between 1900 and 1933 by Sidney and Jenny Brown, two important figures in Baden's history.

Beyond its extraordinary art collection, Langmatt offers a peaceful, bucolic garden: a place of calm, harmony, and quiet reflection. Perfect for self-discovery.

Inspiring works of art, a magnificent garden, and the practice of Tang Soo Do... what more could you ask for to reconnect with nature, body, and mind?

If you're visiting Baden - or if you're lucky enough to live here - we highly recommend a visit to the Langmatt Museum. It is a true gem that should not be missed.

📌 The Heart of Our Dojang in 2025–2026

It is never easy to sum up a Tang Soo Do season in just a few moments.

We quickly realized at Euro Tang Soo Do Switzerland that it is our community that brings our Dojang to life and makes every season richer, month after month.

You make the walls of our Dojang come alive.

We thank you for helping our reputation grow throughout Switzerland and across the globe. Over the past two years, more and more Masters from abroad have wanted to join us to share our training, while more and more students from across Switzerland have chosen to become part of our Dojang.

To our strong community in Baden, you made this season be unforgettable again: more grading examinations, new classes, new training opportunities, more members, more events, more international visits, more sweat, more skills, and... more passion.

📌 End Of Season 2025-2026

We wrapped up the season on Thursday and yesterday with amazing exam sessions, and we're already feeling nostalgic about training together!

The entire Dojang did a fantastic job. Truly incredible. Our new white belts blew us away with their skills and techniques, while our experienced students impressed us with their coordination, technique, attitude, focus, and determination to push beyond their limits.

We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY!

This Dojang means everything to us, and we are proud of every single student who continues to grow year after year. With more than 60 years of combined Tang Soo Do experience gathered in this Dojang, we can honestly say that these students and this community in Baden never cease to amaze us.

Kids, teenagers, adults, women, and seniors: every one of them is unstoppable.

Here's to another successful year and many more to come! We love you, Euro Tang Soo Do Baden. ❤️🇨🇭

📌 BBQ & Outdoor Training

Last Sunday, we celebrated our annual BBQ and outdoor training session to mark the end of the season!

It was another fantastic opportunity to train together, share great moments with friends, and enjoy the beautiful weather with our students.

The Dojang is a place where everyone should feel comfortable and at home, and once again, it was a great success!

Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to making it such a memorable day.
