Aujourd’hui, nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir le champion cycliste Miguel Miguel Masaisai à Kinshasa après son incroyable périple de deux mois à travers la RDC.

Parti de Goma le 1er mai, Miguel a pédalé pour la paix et l’autonomisation de la jeunesse, inspirant des communautés tout au long de son parcours. Félicitations pour cet exploit exceptionnel et bienvenue à Kinshasa, champion ! 🇨🇩🕊️

Today we proudly welcomed cycling champion Miguel Miguel Masaisai to Kinshasa after his incredible two-month journey across the DRC.

Since leaving Goma on May 1, Miguel has cycled for peace and youth empowerment, inspiring communities every step of the way. Congratulations on an extraordinary achievement—welcome home, champion! 🇨🇩🕊️

🌍 World Cup Peace Run 5K

Plus de 250 participants de 21 nations se sont réunis à Kinshasa pour célébrer la paix, l’unité, l’amitié et la diversité à travers le sport.

Après le mot d’ouverture du Chargé d’Affaires du Canada et les hymnes du Canada, des États-Unis et de la RDC, Ruth DeHolton, participante et soutien de longue date de CRM, a officiellement donné le départ aux coureurs et marcheurs.

Merci à tous les participants pour cette belle journée.

🌍 World Cup Peace Run 5K

250+ participants from 21 nations came together in Kinshasa to celebrate peace, unity, friendship, and diversity through sport.

Following opening remarks by the Canadian Chargé d’Affaires and the national anthems of Canada, the USA, and the DRC, long time CRM participant and supporter Ruth DeHolton officially sent runners and walkers on their way.

Thank you to all participants for making this day so special.
