Congratulations Cate Smith and Olivia Mcintyre-King ntyre-King on a great Canada Basketball Nationals! The U15s landed in fifth place after a close game against Newfoundland, moving up in final position from previous year's results! And the U17s took home bronze after a decisive win over British Columbia. Well done, girls - Horton is proud of you and the way you represented our province! 🖤💛💙🏀🎉

Horton Griffins brought home 🥈 yesterday after a tough championship battle at the SSNS Division 1 Girls Basketball Provincials. Congratulations to Citadel on claiming gold.

It was an incredible 2025-2026 for the Griffins. Undefeated in the regular season, three tournament championships, and finishing at the top at provincials. Congratulations to every player - be proud of a great season and achievement! You left it all on the court and set an example for sportswomanship at every game. Horton friends, family, and fans are proud of you and how well you represented the school and the Valley!
