It is with great honour that I announce Manitoba’s newest Wheelchair Club. The Steinbach Prairie Punishers will start practicing September 1st at the southeast convention centre thank to MBLL

Here is a great opportunity for people to try a new sport. 

Anyone notice any name changes. Hugh congratulations to Reese for being called up to wear the maple leaf and represent Canada at the 2026 World Wheelchair Rugby competition, in Brazil. Go get ‘em boys

Wheelchair rugby creates community, camaraderie in Steinbach Steinbach will soon be home to a wheelchair rugby team after a successful tryout event organized by the Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association.

Hugh shout out to everyone that showed up Wednesday to our have-a-go in Steinbach. It was a blast. Now that we know there are enough athletes for a team, we just need a name!🤔🤔🤔 Thought? Couldn’t have done this without the support from Manitoba liquor and lottery.
