🎓🏒 A VERY SPECIAL WILDCAT TO CELEBRATE! 🏒🎓

On the night before students are heading back to school, we’re taking a moment to recognize one of our very own — Reese Losier, a 2026 OHF Scholarship Recipient!

Each year, the Ontario Hockey Federation selects just 30 hockey players to receive this scholarship. We are incredibly proud to see Reese recognized among them! 👏

Reese has been a dedicated member of the SPFHA hockey community for the past 12 years and has always demonstrated the true spirit of the game. She brings exceptional team spirit, a positive attitude and a willingness to step up when needed — including volunteering to play goalie for her high school hockey team! 🥅

Her commitment to hockey and her teammates was also recognized through the WECDSB Hockey Academy Spirit Award, which Reese received for four consecutive years! ⭐

This fall, Reese will continue her education right here at the University of Windsor, pursuing a degree in Human Kinetics – Sports Management and Leadership.

Reese, your dedication, leadership and love of the game make you a wonderful example of what it means to be a Wildcat. 🐾

Congratulations, Reese, on this well-deserved honour! We can’t wait to see where your hockey journey and education take you next!

The 2026/2027 Windsor Wildcats House League Hockey Season kicks off in just 10 DAYS! 🎉

We can't wait to get our players back on the ice and welcome all of our new Wildcats to the season!

📅 Opening Weekend: September 11, 12 & 13

Our first weekend will be Evaluation Sessions. All players — returning and new — will be on the ice during these sessions.

🏒 The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund is OPEN! 🙌

As of August 1, applications are being accepted for the 2026–27 hockey season.

Eligible families can receive up to $500 per player to help cover registration costs with a Hockey Canada-sanctioned association.

The application portal will remain open until the full $1.3 million in funding has been allocated, so don't wait!
