Welcome to PACC!! Here is a brief bio on one of the top curlers in BC who will be playing with the PACC banner next season.

My name is Cody Tanaka, and this upcoming season marks my 20th year of competitive curling. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to achieve several milestones, including winning the BC Men’s Championship, the BC Club Championship and Canadian Club Championship, three BC Mixed Doubles Championships, and three BC Mixed Championships.

As I enter my 20th season, my goals are to qualify for another Brier and earn the opportunity to compete in a Grand Slam of Curling event. I’m excited for the challenges ahead and look forward to continuing to represent British Columbia at the highest level.

Yes, that’s a sheet of water on the freshly poured concrete. It’s needed to ensure the concrete does not dry too quickly and crack.

We are proud to recognize our winner of The Pour Contest, Jacob Gabriel (center) who guessed correctly the exact amount of concrete required for the new floor: 110 cubic meters. Congratulations!!

THE POUR IS ON!!! Many members came through the Club today to see the pouring of the concrete for the new floor. Big job for a busy crew and the levelling across the surface is +/- 1/4”. The winner of The Pour Contest will be announced on Friday.

Thanks to our generous donors, Bruce and Linda. The next generation of curlers on the Peninsula has a home to play the sport we love.
