11U AAA Weyburn Beavers

On the very last day of his 11U ball career, Jack saved his very first home run of the year for the moment it would matter most, a blast to right field in the Beavers’ season finale against the Saskatoon Mudhens in the gold medal game.

Add in a two-hit, four-RBI day, and Jack closed out his U11 chapter with style. 💁🏼

Friday was a nail-biter, a 10-11 loss to the Braves, but the Beavers bounced back fast, smacking the River Pirates 12-0! Saturday brought an 18-8 win over the Cardinals and a tough 6-17 test against the White Sox. Sunday started with a heart-stopping walk-off win over the Sask Five Giants in the semis to punch their ticket to the gold medal game!

The final against the Mudhens ended 20-9. Gold wasn’t in the cards this year, but a silver medal at provincials? That’s a season for the record books. 🏆🦫

Two wins, two losses, and the Beavers gnawed their way straight into Sunday's semi-final. 🦫

This 11U AAA crew battled hard all weekend in Regina, bounced back when it counted, and punched their ticket to the next round. That's the kind of grit that builds a dam!!!

Semi-final: Sunday, 10AM vs. Sask 5 Giants, Columbus Park Diamond 4.

Tough one to close the weekend.

The boys battled Swift Current tight all game, tying it up twice, but came up short 7-4. A double play turned, timely hitting in key spots, just couldn’t find that last push.

Good weekend of ball, this one didn’t go our way.

Back at it next weekend in Regina for Provincials!

Beavers dropped an 8-2 game to the White Butte Broncos BLACK at Pacer Park.

Beavers don’t quit until the dam is done, back at it this morning against Yorkton.
