Movement is not one-size-fits-all.
For people living with spondyloarthritis, movement can be both essential and challenging. Some days it looks like stretching or walking, other days it may look like rest.
What matters most is finding what works for your body, in your current moment.
Discover our "Move Well with SpA" series to find what works for you.

________

Axial spondyloarthritis is often invisible, but its impact is not.
While back pain is one of the most recognized symptoms, axSpA is a systemic inflammatory condition that can affect multiple areas of the body and life. Greater awareness leads to earlier recognition, faster diagnosis, and better outcomes.
________

This Tuesday is ME/CFS Awareness Day. I’m proud to be helping organize an event to raise awareness for Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome and Long COVID. One of the most meaningful parts of my recovery journey has been gaining enough energy to reconnect with advocacy and support the chronic illness community. Grateful to be part of creating more awareness, understanding, and compassion for those living with invisible illnesses.

If you’re in Victoria, I highly recommended classes with Etain Pilates .
Great news! Starting in January, I will be offering some small group classes, duets, and privates through a new collective space that is opening in Market Square. There will be a mix of mat, reformer, and apparatus (tower, chair, and barrels) class options available. The schedule and cost will come as information is available, however my aim in collaboration with the collective is to provide accessible options so that everyone has access to movement that feels good. Beginner friendly, and open to everyone.
