Hello Westside Families,

Here on the westside we are more than players, coaches, volunteers, and parents. We are a community that supports each other through thick and thin.

Well it is now that one of our members needs our support. Cheyanne and Destiny were WRA members for over a decade and Destiny was the one that designed our current logo. Whenever these two were at the rink you could guarantee their parents Elaine and Scott were around helping wherever they could. Scott especially was always around for comic relief after hard games.

Scott and his family were just given the worst news and they could use our support in these tough times. Please show them love in anyway you can.

Due to Royal LePage Place being used to support evacuees, we’ve had to make some changes to our upcoming Shake Off the Dust ice times.

Please check the **revised times and location** before heading to the rink. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing everyone on the ice!

🚨 **UPDATED TIME & LOCATION – Come Try Ringette!**

Please note that we’ve had to make a change to the ice time and location for our upcoming Come Try Ringette event, as Royal LePage Place is currently being used to support evacuees.

Our event will now take place at **Jim Lind Arena on Sunday, August 23, from 2:00–3:00 p.m.**

Equipment needed: helmet, skates, and gloves.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and hope to see lots of new faces on the ice! ❤️💙
