The Woodland Arena would like too express top gratitude to The Vermilion Bay Lions Club for their generous donation towards our fundraising goals for the new ice plant! Thank you all for your support and dedication to our community!

Today we had the pleasure of donating to our community ....Machin Municipality for their ice machine at the arena.

Machin Community Garbage Clean Up tomorrow Sat May.2. Please come out and contribute picking up trash around Machin and beautifying our community! Sign up today at the Machin office until 4pm, bags and safety vests available at the office today. Leave full bags for pick up on road edge or bring to the dump during dump hours and notify Wayne that it is community clean up trash. DHS Ambassadors are collecting bottles and cans for their Greece trip and can be put in the clear bags for pick up or dropped off next to the bin at the Machin Clinic. If you require more bags on Saturday, message me at the Woodland Arena Facebook messenger and we can arrange meeting. Thank you for contributing! Please be safe and take care and attention on our area roads!

What a great weekend to end our season! Thank you to Tony for passing the torch and dedicating his time and patience with making curling sheets! Special thanks to Mike Thibodeau for coming out assisting with the process and designing and donating the shirts! Thank you to the organizers of Tonydome Lydia Robinson and Deha Reimer for all their hard work and organization. What a fantastic meal prepared by Lydia and tasty cupcakes from Joy Robinson! Thank you to Ryan and Cassidy Nelson and Tyler and Alexa Colegrove for donating their prize money of $300 to the Woodland Arena Ice Plant project and the generous donation from the Tonydome organizers of $1000! Thank you to Tracey, Brent, Mia and Bush Wh***ey for hosting the social! Thank you to all the curlers for coming out and contributing to making Tonydome 2026 a success!
