It’s almost time for another huge weekend on the oche!

Rhyder Oliver is heading to the Washington Area Open, where he’ll compete in the CDC Congressional Summer Series ( providing flights go as planned), three important CDC Next Gen Junior Tour events, and various other events throughout the weekend including WDF Singles.

These three Junior Tour events carry a little extra pressure and excitement. Rhyder has worked incredibly hard to earn his current position, and he’ll be fighting to hold his place on Team Canada and earn the incredible opportunity to represent his country in Gibraltar! 🇨🇦 🇬🇮

In such a short time, darts has already taken Rhyder on an amazing journey. Every tournament brings new opponents, valuable experience and another opportunity to grow. This weekend will test his skill, focus and composure—but we know he’s ready to step up, trust his game and give it everything he has!

We are so proud of how far he has come and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next. No matter the results, getting to compete at this level alongside some of the best young players is something worth celebrating.

Rhyder Oliver and the Bearcats finish their season as Provincial Silver Medalists in a 5-4 loss to Dartmouth⚾️❤️🖤

Being a multi-sport athlete isn’t easy. There are practices, tournaments, travel, missed events and a whole lot of juggling behind the scenes.

We are incredibly grateful that Rhyder has coaches who understand just how important both baseball and darts are to him.

They’ve supported him, worked with him and given him the flexibility to chase some pretty big goals on the oche while still being committed to his team on the diamond. That kind of support means more than they probably realize. ❤️

The Bearcats season may be over, but apparently the cleats aren’t getting put away just yet… 😂⚾️

Next up: school ball tryouts, back to school 📚 and the start of the “regular” darts season. 🎯

Balancing it all isn’t easy, but Rhyder wouldn’t have it any other way.

The new NDFC Youth Season begins in October, and Rhyder Oliver is heading into his second year of youth competition with bigger goals and even bigger ambitions.

After an incredible first season, Rhyder is looking to continue competing at the highest level of youth darts while representing Nova Scotia and Canada on the tournament circuit across North America and quite possibly “the Pond.”
