🚨FINAL: TRENTON 5 | LINDSAY 2 🚨

The Trenton Golden Hawks closed out the preseason tonight with a 5-2 win over the Lindsay Muskies.

Ethan Brassard, Ashton Fraser, Wyatt Gregory, Jackson Bathgate and Mason Musclow all found the back of the net, while Hayden Jeffery made 30 saves in the win.

The Hawks went 2-for-4 on the power play and were perfect on the penalty kill.

Up next, the Golden Hawks will open the regular season on the road on September 11 against the Muskies.

The Golden Hawks have completed a trade with the Burlington Cougars (OJHL), acquiring 2007-born forward Ethan Brassard in exchange for Player Development Funds (PDF)! 🏆

A native of Burlington, Ethan brings proven OJHL experience, high-level hockey IQ, and a relentless work ethic to our forward group. Having already adjusted to the pace and physical demands of our league, his versatility will make him a seamless fit for our lineup. 📈⚔️

The blueline talent keeps leveling up! The Trenton Golden Hawks are thrilled to officially announce the signing of 2008-born defenseman Jackson Ciuffetelli from Dearborn, Michigan, for the upcoming 2026-27 season! 🏆⚡

Jackson makes his way to Quinte West with an elite hockey resume. A standout for Victory Honda U18 AAA, Jackson also earned a prestigious call-up to the U.S. National Team Development Program (USNTDP) in the USHL last season.

Despite being slated to play in the NAHL this year, Jackson chose to commit his development to the Golden Hawks and the OJHL—bringing a dynamic two-way presence to our blueline.

"Jackson is a highly skilled defenseman who sees the ice extremely well and has a great ability to make plays from the back end. He brings a lot of offensive upsides and has the tools to be a dynamic two-way defenseman. Jackson was set to play in the NAHL but chose to come to Trenton. He played for Victory Honda and also spent time with the USNTDP team in the USHL."
