Over the past year, I've noticed something interesting.
Many of the people reaching out to me for retirement coaching aren't in their mid-60s.
They're in their 50s.
In fact, one of my recent clients retired at just 48.
Some are choosing to retire early. Others have been offered packages, experienced burnout, changed careers, or simply decided that life is too short to wait.
What they all have in common is this:
They're asking the same question.
"Now what?"
For decades we've been taught how to save for retirement, but very few of us have been taught how to actually live it.
How do you create purpose when your career ends?
How do you build a new routine?
How do you stay connected, challenged, and fulfilled?
These are the conversations I love having through Retire Ready Canada.
Retirement isn't the end of your story.
It's the beginning of your next chapter.
I'm looking forward to sharing more thoughts, ideas, and practical tips here over the coming weeks. If you're retired, thinking about retirement, or simply wondering what your next chapter might look like, I'd love to have you join the conversation.
What surprised you most about retirement—or what do you think will surprise you when the time comes?
