Intro Camp in action!
This morning we met them down at the Sailing docks learning to tie bowlines before they headed out in the sailboats. An afternoon of Art and Swimming lies ahead for our youngest adventurers at camp.

An awesome first few days of camp! ☀️
SUMMER 2026 HAS BEGUN! ☀️
Our July campers arrived today in fine style, with amazing energy and enthusiasm to be here at Camp Hurontario. An afternoon touring the island, dips in the lake, leaps off the diving board, and some delicious meals have everyone excited for the days ahead.

Our new instructor staff are loving camp life! Yesterday evening we all went out for a paddle around the island. While we were in Loon Bay, a white-tailed deer leapt into the water and swam across the bay while we watched from our canoes. What a welcome!
How different does camp look in the spring? With winter over, new spring growth is popping up all over the island 🌱
Our amazing pre-camp crew are doing spring cleaning right at this minute, beautifying the camp for everyone’s arrival in the summer.
The incoming CITs are excited to be visiting the camp this weekend to keep tidying the place up.

Spring works begin at camp 🌱☀️
A huge thank you goes out to all the Camp Hurontario Alumni who came to camp last weekend. Lots of heavy lifting, dock maneuvering, handy-work, and spring cleaning was done in fine sunny weather.
We even celebrated Don’s birthday! 🎂
