Day 6: Lymphatic Torso Twists
When was the last time you really rotated your body?
Most of us spend the day moving forward, walking, driving, sitting, looking at a screen. Very little of our daily movement involves twisting, yet rotation is one of the most natural movements our bodies are designed to do.
Today’s Lymphatic Torso Twists gently mobilize the waist, spine, and rib cage while encouraging movement throughout the body’s core.
In this video, I’ll show you three variations, allowing you to choose the one that feels right for your body and mobility.
Keep your shoulders relaxed, let your arms move naturally, and don’t force the twist. The movement should feel smooth, easy, and enjoyable.
Small movements practiced consistently can make a big difference over time.

Day 5: Lymphatic Body Wave
One of the best things you can do for your body is to keep it moving the way it was designed to move.
The Body Wave is a gentle Qigong movement that creates a flowing motion from head to toe. Rather than isolating one area, it encourages the entire body to move as one connected system.
As your spine, hips, knees, and ankles move together, you also create a natural pumping action throughout the body. It’s a simple way to improve mobility, reduce stiffness, and support healthy circulation.
In this video, I’ll guide you through three variations, so whether you’re just starting out or looking for more of a challenge, there’s an option for you.
Don’t worry about making it perfect.
Relax your body, find a comfortable rhythm, and let the movement flow naturally.
The more connected the movement, the more connected your body will feel.
I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 6 of our Lymphatic Qigong Series.
Day 4: Loose Arms
One of the biggest obstacles to healthy movement is tension.
When we’re stressed, we instinctively tighten our shoulders, arms, and chest without even realizing it. Over time, that tension can limit mobility and make the body feel heavy and stiff.
Today’s Qigong movement, Loose Arms, also known as Beating and Drumming the Qi, helps release that built-up tension while creating gentle movement throughout the upper body.
In this video, I’ll show you three variations, so you can choose the one that feels right for you.
The key isn’t to hit harder or move faster. Stay relaxed, let your arms stay loose, and allow the movement to come from your whole body.
The looser you become, the more freely your body can move.
Join me tomorrow for Day 5 of our Lymphatic Qigong Series
Day 3: Lateral Swings
Today’s movement is all about creating flow through the sides of the body.
We often move forward and backward throughout the day, but rarely side to side. Over time, that lack of movement can contribute to stiffness in the shoulders, ribs, waist, and upper body.
Lateral Swings are a simple Qigong exercise that gently mobilizes the spine, encourages natural movement through the torso, and supports healthy circulation throughout the upper body.
In this video, I’ll show you three variations so you can find the one that feels most comfortable for your body.
There’s no need to force the movement. Stay relaxed, let your arms swing naturally, and allow your body to do the work.
Small movements, practiced consistently, often create the biggest changes.
I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 4 of the series.
The lymphatic system is getting a lot of attention right now, and for good reason.
Unlike your heart, it doesn’t have its own pump. It relies on movement to help keep lymph flowing throughout the body.
Today’s exercise is Lymphatic Bouncing.
It may look simple, but don’t underestimate it. This gentle movement helps wake up the entire body and is a great place to start if you’re new to Qigong.
In this video, I’ll show you three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Start with the one that feels right for your body. There’s no prize for choosing the hardest version.
The real benefits come from showing up consistently, not pushing yourself too far.
Try it for a few minutes each day and notice how your body feels.
Which level did you choose? Let me know in the comments.
Lymphatic Qigong is having a moment.
But one thing most videos leave out is that not every movement is right for every body.
That’s why every exercise in this series includes three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Whether you’re just getting started, returning after injury, or looking for a greater challenge, you can choose the version that feels right for you today.
Over the next nine videos, I’ll guide you through simple Qigong movements designed to encourage healthy lymphatic flow, improve mobility, and get your body moving again.
Don’t worry about keeping up.
Start where you are.
Progress when you’re ready.
Because consistency will always do more for your body than intensity.
Follow along with the series and save each video so you can come back to it whenever you need it.
Chinese Medicine has known this for over 2,000 years.
Health isn’t built by doing more.
It’s built by doing the right things consistently.
You don’t need to climb a mountain.
You don’t need a five-hour hike.
You don’t need to push yourself to exhaustion.
Sometimes, all your body needs is 20 minutes.
A slow walk through the trees.
The sound of water.
Sunlight on your face.
Fresh air in your lungs.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, health isn’t about forcing the body.
It’s about living in harmony with it.
Nature invites us to slow down, breathe more deeply, move gently, and reconnect with the rhythms we’ve largely forgotten.
Modern research continues to show that spending time in nature can help reduce stress, improve mood, and support overall well-being.
The goal isn’t to escape to the wilderness once a year.
It’s to make nature part of your everyday life.
Small walks.
Small moments.
Small habits.
Done consistently.
Because healing rarely comes from what you do once.
It comes from what you do every day.
🌿 How will you spend time in nature this week?
We’ve been taught that healing starts in the mind.
Think positive.
Change your mindset.
Reframe your thoughts.
But what if we’ve been starting in the wrong place?
Your brain is constantly receiving information from your body.
Your breathing.
Your heart rate.
Your posture.
Your muscles.
Your gut.
Your movement.
If your body is sending signals that you’re tense, exhausted, inflamed, or under threat, your brain responds accordingly.
That’s why you can know you’re safe... and still feel anxious.
It’s also why you can’t always “think” your way out of stress.
In Qigong, we work from the body up.
We slow the breath.
We soften tension.
We improve circulation.
We move Qi.
As the body begins to regulate, the brain receives a different message:
“You’re safe now.”
Healing isn’t just about changing your thoughts.
Sometimes it’s about changing the conversation between your body and your brain.
