68 years young & the leanest & strongest she’s ever been

with Debra being 38 years in the fitness industry she still never fully understood how to fuel her body properly.

For years, the goal was to stay “slim.”

But underfueling doesn’t build a strong, capable body.

At 68 years young, she is now the strongest she has ever been.

In 18 weeks, she has learned how to resistance train properly, fuel her body, and support a metabolism that works with her, not against her.

She is eating 1900 calories, getting stronger, feeling leaner, and completely changing the way she sees what her body is capable of.

This is what happens when you stop chasing “slim” and start building strong.

It is never too late to learn, rebuild, and become the strongest version of yourself.

You know that feeling when you’re supposed to be excited to go out... but instead you’re standing in your bedroom trying on outfit after outfit?

You have a pile of clothes you’ve thrown all over the place.

You catch yourself saying “Nothing looks good on me.”

So you change again. And again.

Until you settle for the one thing that hides your body the most, or the simple black on black outfit so you dont highlight the insecurities. I’ve been there multiple times.

Excited to go out, and then suddenly your mood changes because you’re frustrated you have nothing to wear.

It was never really about the clothes.

When you don’t feel confident in your own skin, no outfit feels right.

But when you start taking care of yourself, working towards creating a better healthier version of you, something shifts.

You stop asking,
“Does this hide my stomach?”

And start asking,
“Which one do I want to wear?”

It isn’t because you suddenly have a closet full of expensive clothes.

It’s because even the simplest outfit feels good when you feel good in your body.

That’s why this journey has never been about fitting into a dress, although thats the bonus.

It’s about getting to a place where getting dressed no longer feels like a mental battle

She Thought She Was Getting Ready for a Wedding. She Was Actually Rebuilding Her Life.

At 60, she learned age was never a limitation.

Mindset was.

Believing she was “too old,” expecting the scale to drop overnight, and chasing quick fixes had kept her stuck for years.

When she stopped looking for the fastest path and started building sustainable habits, everything changed.

Life still happened.

Stress, celebrations, setbacks, speed bumps.

But her biggest victory wasn’t perfection—it was always getting right back to it.

That’s what creates lasting transformation.

If you’re waiting for the “perfect time” or the “perfect plan,” this is your reminder: you don’t need either.

You just need to start.

Today, LadyTheFUp turns 7 years old.

Seven years ago, this started with a simple goal: to help women feel stronger, healthier and more confident in themselves.

Today, it’s become so much more.

To every woman who has trusted us with your journey, thank you. Whether you’ve been here for seven years or seven days, you’ve helped shape this community into what it is today.

Thank you for showing up on the hard days.
Thank you for trusting us through the ups and downs.
Thank you for cheering on other women, sharing your stories, and reminding each other that none of us have to do this alone.

What started as two coaches and twenty 60 day challengers has grown into a community of hundreds of women around the world choosing themselves, setting boundaries, building strength, healing their relationship with food and their bodies, and becoming women they genuinely trust.

We couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built together.

Here’s to every lesson, every challenge, every milestone, every laugh, every tear, and every woman who has chosen to be part of this community, no matter where in the world you call home.

Happy 7th birthday, LadyTheFUp. ❤️
