The Dragons of Hope are an incredible dragon boat team made up of breast cancer survivors and their support companions. It means so much to be able to support such an inspiring group through this racing season.

Tonight was by far my favourite night at the track. 🩷🏁

The night started with Meet the Drivers, and it was so awesome getting to meet all the young fans. A huge thank you to Linda for always putting on such an amazing night for everyone at the track! Intermission was something I’ll never forget. Getting recognized by the Brady/ Vaillent family, handing out goodies to all the kiddos, seeing so many friends and family come out to support, and watching everyone stop by the CRT booth to grab a T-shirt truly meant the world to me.

Now for the racing…

I picked the worst night of the year to have my first DNF. Car issues had me lose all power just one lap into the heat race. My pit crew worked their butts off to get me back on track, and we rolled out just in time for the B Main. Starting at the back wasn’t ideal, but the car came alive, the driver finally found the gas pedal, and somehow we battled our way through the field and punched our ticket into the feature.🏁
