Hockey Manitoba would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the City of Thompson for hosting an outstanding 2026 Manitoba Winter Games presented by Manitoba Hydro.

Last week, athletes from across our province came together to compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of sport. Events like the Manitoba Winter Games provide an incredible opportunity for young athletes to represent their regions, build friendships, and experience the pride of competing on a provincial stage.

We would also like to thank Sport Manitoba for their leadership in delivering this province-wide celebration of sport, and to Manitoba Hydro for their continued support as the presenting sponsor of the Games.

Most importantly, thank you to the volunteers, staff, coaches, officials, families, and spectators whose time, energy, and passion made these Games possible. Your commitment to sport helps create meaningful experiences for young athletes across Manitoba.

Congratulations to all participants for your hard work and dedication. The future of sport in our province is bright because of you!
