Game 1 chains: Jacoby earned the chains after coming in and shutting things down with three solid innings of relief, giving us the chance to battle back and pull out the win. Huge performance when we needed it most.

Game 2 chains: In a tough battle under the blazing sun, Beck showed exactly what being a great teammate is all about. He battled through an injury and caught a great game behind the plate. The only thing hotter than the weather was his bat.....hitting a 2 run bomb over the fence.

Game 1: The chains are heading home with Axton.
He was everywhere in the field, wore one for the team by taking a pitch, and then absolutely hosed a runner from right field. The throw was so good that Leo had enough time to make a Costco run before coming back to tag him out.

Game 2: The chains are heading home with Smith.
A big honourable mention goes to Axton for a stellar 4 innings on the mound, but this one is heading to Smith.
He flashed the leather in the infield, came through with a big hit at the plate, and then slammed the door with two efficient shutdown innings on the mound.

Down 2-11 against the top-ranked Broncos Black, our boys in 🟧 never quit. They battled all the way back and made it a game but couldn't pull a win at 11-14.

Harry earned himself the chains after putting on a defensive display at shortstop, getting to everything hit his way, putting the bat on the ball all game, and staying positive even when things weren't going our way. That kind of effort and attitude keeps a team fighting until the final out.

Ben and Leo put on a clinic today....throwing a complete game on the mound and catching every inning behind the dish. One of the best pitched games Coach Bobby has ever seen!
Leo even helped out his battery mate at the plate with an RBI triple.

The 57s found themselves behind early but chipped away one run at a time, then held off the league's #1-ranked Broncos in an absolute battle. Tied heading into the bottom of the 6th, Beck stepped to the plate and crushed a walk-off home run to send the team into a frenzy, give the 57s an unforgettable win and earn him today's chains.
