Another close up (video) and discussion of the materials and why I chose them.
Tail Spinners Disc Golf
My name is Randy. I'm better at designing things for disc golf than I am at actually playing it!

A close up look of how it's made.
Did you know that a set of Tail Spinners will last the whole season long? And if you have dedicated winter discs, you can leave the bases attached and use them winter after winter.
Interested in purchasing Tail Spinners? Reach out through FB Messenger or email me at [email protected] to inquire. A set of 10 bases with 3 tails is just $20 Canadian plus shipping ($2 anywhere in Canada (remote locations may require additional postage)). For our players south of the border, $17 US will cover the purchase price and shipping.

(Please read the full text before/instead of watching) Playing Science - how do Tail Spinners compare to bare discs and ribbons? Video/audio is just fair quality.
UPDATE: The video is pretty painful to watch with noisy audio. It was a - 18C day and this was the last of several attempts so I just needed to get it done. Here's a summary of what my throws revealed:
1. A disc with a traditional ribbon becomes slightly more over stable and loses a few yards in distance.
2. A disc with a Tail Spinner base attached flies the same as a bare disc.
3. A disc with a Tail Spinner base and tail attached flies very close (maybe even identical) to a bare disc. The stability of the disc does not seem to be affected with just a slight (if any) loss of distance.
Why should I use Tail Spinners?
So what exactly are Tail Spinners and how do we use them.
