Where your adventure begins

This will be a fun event to attend and is a great way to win a Newfoundland moose hunt. There’s only a few spots left. Get your rifle sighted in, make the trip to shoot and win. You won’t be disappointed. Message me for more details if you’re interested. (902)874-0712

Moose Madness Event Format

The 'Shoot for Newfoundland' Moose Trip event format for participants is as follows:

75 participants (maximum)

Registration fee: $100.00

(Includes participant ammunition, lunch, and a bottle of Tink's Moose Lure)

Shooting Event:

Date: August 23

Start time: 9:00 AM

Participants will shoot 2 rounds at 'Marven the Iron Moose' to earn tickets for a chance to win a Moose Hunting Trip with Caribou Cove Outfitters.

All participants will be provided with a firearm and 2 rounds of .308 ammunition.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid PAL.

Participants may choose to shoot using a tripod or freehand.

Scoring System:

Tripod Shots:

1 ticket for a body shot

5 tickets for a kill shot (designated area)

Freehand Shots:

2 tickets for a body shot

10 tickets for a kill shot (designated area)

The draw will take place once all shooters have entered their tickets after the event.

Entry Rules:

Entry limit: 2 entries per person

Registration:

Begins June 14

(Please include your name(s) in the transfer)

Only shooting participants can enter the draw for the Moose Trip.

The event is open to the public.

There will be prize packages available throughout the day, open to both participants and the public.

$15,000 in prizes to be won!

Additional Activities:

A gun dealer will be on-site with fi****ms, scopes, ammunition, and accessories available for purchase.

BBQ food will be available for purchase during the day.

Charity:

Proceeds from this event will go to local schools to support children's breakfast programs.
