All horses purchased each year at the Select Prairie Quarter Horse Sale are eligible to compete (for the lifetime of the horse) at the Annual Prairie Futurity, on the day prior to each year’s sale. The 2011 futurity offered competitions for horses 2 years old and up with Youth, Non-pro & Open classes. Major sponsors such as Affordable Barns & Garage and many others generously donated cash prizes, a one – year lease of a horse trailer courtesy of Moose Jaw Toyota Trailer Sales and a working cow horse saddle , courtesy of K&K Livestock, of Calgary, Alberta. We are also excited to announce that we have planned and are offering a series of clinics to help prepare for the April 20, 2012 Prairieland Futurity…. Clinics will held at Running Bar F Arena, home of Randy & Wendy Fernets, Grandora, Sask., on several dates throughout the winter and instructed by some of Saskatchewan’s Best Trainers! We welcome all Interested Participants!! Several clinics are designed with the futurity classes in mind – some are for general skills.
