Many people enter Ballroom Dancing thinking they need to buy a specific type of shoe. For our classes, if your shoe is comfortable, clean (no outdoor shoes please), and doesn't leave marks on the floor, it doesn't matter if it's a sneaker or a fancy dance shoe. What are your rates?
**UPDATED NOVEMBER 10 2025**
You provide the space:
- lessons at $75/hour (up to 6 people or 3 couples)
- Choreography*:
additional $20/hour/couple
- we come to your home/garage/church hall/community centre
We provide the space:
- lessons at $120/hour (up to 6 people or 3 couples)
- Choreography*:
additional $20/hour/couple
Single student private lessons in your space: $75/hour (dance with opposite role instructor and receive coaching from same role instructor)
*Choreography is not charged for first and last sessions, which are basics and a final review.

Did you know we volunteer with the U of S BDC??
Come join your favourite fat teachers for our volunteer class with the U of S Ballroom Dancing Club for a reduced price and learn the fundamentals of Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Jive, Rumba, Salsa, Tango, West Coast Swing, and Waltz!
Yeah, that is a lot. You are going to learn SO MUCH!
Class begins on Thursday, Sept 12, and runs once a week until the end of March 2025. Can't wait to see you on the dancefloor!

Registration for our weekly beginner class with the U of S Ballroom Dancing Club is live and starting NOW!
This is where we first met and discovered our mutual passion for social ballroom dancing. It's also where we met so many of our friends and chosen family.
Dancing is more fun with the people you love, so be sure to tell your friends and family if you haven’t already. Consider sharing this post so we can get the word out to those who may not be on our socials yet.
Classes start on Thursday, September 12 and run every Thursday until November 28. Then we have Term 2 starting on Thursday, January 9, until March 27.
Your registration covers BOTH terms, 23 classes!
PS - Our private lessons for the fall are also filling rapidly. Only Wednesdays and Mondays are open now, so if you prefer a more private lesson experience, consider small group or solo lessons!
