Layla - Best Facials

Layla was new to both the team and sport this year. This versatile athlete served as a flyer and a base, willing to take on any role that was needed.

We saw Layla target specific tumbling goals and go after them to achieve them, constantly working to master each skill.

Her enthusiasm and love for this sport shone through in every performance, showcasing great facials every time she stepped on that mat.

We are so proud to recognize Layla with the Best Facials this year. Congratulations Layla!

Meah - Best Base

Meah was brand new to the team and sport this year.

She caught the coaches eye during tryouts with how quickly and intuitively she knew to grip and/or switch her grips for the stunts, giving her all to make sure the stunt hit.

As we moved through the season, we saw Meah grow in confidence, allowing us to continually add more difficult stunt skills into our routine.

That confidence was also applied to the tumbling sections, with Meah constantly attacking new tumbling skills.

We are so proud to recognize Meah with the Best Base award for this year. Congratulations Meah!

Elsa - Best Tumbler

Elsa was brand new to the sport and team this year. Right from the start, Elsa’s infectious smile engaged everyone immediately, highlighting her love of the sport.

She is the type of athlete that will look at the breakdown of a skill, and then attack it with confidence. With this approach, Elsa had dual roles to play as both a base and a flyer.

Elsa gave herself a list of tumbling skills she wanted to achieve this season. There was a lot of celebration in the gym every time she knocked a tumbling skill off her list.

We are so proud to recognize Elsa with the Best Tumbler award this year. Congratulations Elsa!

Brielle - Best Flyer

Brielle was a returning athlete this year, bringing the confidence she gained last year into this season.

Brielle draws in the crowd during every performance, performing with joy, heart, soul, and sass. This athlete draws your eye and brings every spectator along for every motion and skill in the routine.

This season saw Brielle fly all the sections in the routine, hitting all the skills very quickly, fine tuning each skill, and then attacking a new one.

We were able to keep advancing the difficulty and complexity in this routine because of the hard work that Brielle and her teammates put into every skill.

We are so proud to recognize Brielle as the best flyer for this year. Congratulations Brielle.

Alissia - The Sparkle Award

Alissia was new to the team and sport this past year. Although she was new to the sport, she brought a hard work to succeed ethic and the willingness to learn, and genuine excitement while performing.

This athlete took every challenge and skill we tossed at her with enthusiasm and a smile. Every practice saw Alissia grow in confidence and skill.

Gemstones shine in brilliance, and every performance saw Alissia sparkle on that competition floor.

We are so proud to recognize Alissia with the Sparkle Award for the year. Congratulations Alissia.

Bella - Super Stunter

This athlete was brand new to the team and sport this season. When Bella first walked into
the gym, we knew what she brought to the table, and we knew what she was going to achieve.

Bella really zeroed in on the tumbling aspect of cheer, and worked really hard to attain all the tumbling skills in the routine.

At the halfway point of our season, we asked Bella to take on a different role for our stunt and pyramid sections. She stepped in as a base and very quickly learned all the grips needed for that role, all with strength and great technique.

Her versatility in stunting also enabled us to fly her in our 2 man section.

We are so proud to recognize Bella as our Super Stunter for the year. Congratulations Bella.

Jade - Best Back Spot

This athlete was new to the team this year. The moment Jade walked into the gym, we could see what skills she already had, and what we knew she could achieve.

Jade commits fully to achieving and perfecting the skills needed for cheer, and she spent the season knocking off new skills, whether it was motions, jumps, tumbling or stunting.

There wasn’t a skill that we threw at Jade that she wasn’t excited to try. While running stunt drills, she demonstrated how adept she was at grips, all with a huge smile on her face.

We are so proud to recognize Jade as the best back spot. Congratulations Jade 💙

Arianah - Team Player

Arianah was a new athlete to the team, bringing a love for cheerleading to the competition floor.

She is an athlete who puts her heart into the sport and pushes herself to succeed. This season saw Arianah take on a variety of positions in the various stunt sections - from backing and basing. She was always willing
to learn a new skill / role for the benefit of her team.

Watching Arianah perform was to see an athlete shine, from her facials, hitting all the skills in the routine, to the joy in being on that floor with her teammates.

We are so proud to recognize Arianah as the Team Player for the year. Congratulations!
