I get asked all the time “what do you eat”?
Here it is - AI made them look real pretty 😆
This is pretty much an exact replica of what fuels me every day, on repeat for the past 13 years. Why?
Because it’s sustainable, predictable and takes the guess work out of meal prep, which eliminates decision fatigue, ensures I stay on plan and reduces the chances of “grabbing whatever” because I’m starving.
YOU HAVE TO MEAL PREP. There’s no way around it. Sorry, but not sorry. Get over it 😝
What I DON’T do, is spend hours in the kitchen every Sunday making 10 different things, exhausted with a mountain of dishes and pi**ed off & resentful.
KEEP THAT S**T SIMPLE!
What I DO….
* Buy bagged salads.
* Veggies on repeat: LOTS of cucumbers, cherry or grape tomatoes, zucchini, snap peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, peppers, green beans (Steve likes those 😝)
* BBQ or bake EXTRA meat EVERY. SINGLE. TIME when cooking for the family. Divide it up into a couple containers and freeze.
* I do make my eggs every morning fresh and pack them when I go to work. But I also do hard boiled eggs when I know I’ll be on the road a lot that week.
IF I am unexpectedly away from home longer or need to grab something quick,
Gas station stop: plain beef jerky, trail mix nuts, or a Fairlife protein shake. Sometimes they have snack size veggies and fruit too.
I stay away from protein bars, protein chips/cookies, etc, as MUCH as possible. It’s basically a chocolate bar with protein injected into it. Plus, they give me terrible gut aches and DO NOT digest well. There are some decent ones out there - a post for another time.
As humans we feel the need to complicate the s**t out of everything or think it needs to be perfect all the time…. Yeah, that doesn’t work.
If you’ve been sitting on the fence, waiting for the “right” time, here’s your sign 🪧 Because life is messy and when you can make it through the messy and still progress and be consistent, THAT is when you’ve “made it”… and I’m here to help guide you through it. 🫶🏼

When I get client feed back like this, makes it ALLLLL worth it 💪🏼👏🏼
People come to me for various reasons, goals, mindset, insecurities, fears, previous injuries and experience.
But the ones who commit all have ONE thing in common, the desire to make it happen. The ones who succeed DONT GIVE UP.
My client came to me over a year ago. She was willing to put in the work on her own, check in with me from time to time to keep her progressing; with guidance, recommendations & a program that fit her needs. Not only was she looking to build strength, she needed to address some imbalances, compensations & pain that plagued her for YEARS. Her programming needed to be applicable and transferable to real life…. THIS IS PROGRESS! THIS is sustainable + THIS is why I do what I do.
Thank you for trusting me and doing the work. You should be SO proud of your progress and growth. ❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE check ins like this ⬇️

Discipline Check ✅
You can’t blame the plan if you didn’t follow it….. 📝
Let’s get real 🫡
Dreams & goals don’t fail because the strategy was bad, they fail because we got distracted, made excuses, or quit when it got uncomfortable.
The plan is YOUR blueprint.
YOUR consistency is the builder.
Stay locked in.
Show up daily.
Be relentless.
The results you want are waiting on the other side of your discipline.
What are you doing daily to get closer to what you want?
Meals & snacks ✅
Movement and workouts ✅
Going to bed on time ✅
Drinking your water ✅
Managing stress ✅
Prioritizing YOU ✅

When you learn to take the decision out of the equation, it becomes much easier.

Life doesn’t pause while you chase your goals.
There will be hard seasons. Stress. Loss. Setbacks. Busy schedules. Days when motivation is nowhere to be found and showing up feels heavier than usual.
But your goals don’t require perfection, they require persistence. They require you to remove the decision and just do it.
You can acknowledge that life is hard and still choose to do hard things.
The strongest people aren’t the ones who never struggle. They’re the ones who keep showing up despite the struggle.
Keep going. Keep choosing yourself. Keep choosing your health.

Behaviour change and skill development can be challenging. We are often focused more on the larger goal than seeing the small steps and wins we accumulate each week. It’s easy to say the week sucked because the scale didn’t move or progress isn’t happening as quickly as we’d like but I encourage you to see all of the small wins you’re making every day.
* tracking most of your intake
* eating 80-90% on plan
* moving your body 3-4 days a week with INTENTIONAL exercise
* reading something that brings you joy or grows your knowledge.
* doing something out of your comfort zone
* food prepping for the week or at the least, a few days
* not skipping breakfast
* decreasing alcohol consumption
* hitting your daily step goal
* finding something about your body you’re proud of and saying it in the mirror OUT LOUD or sharing it with a friend.
* encouraging someone else in the gym
* nailing your veggie intake
* drinking your f-ing water 😉
…..
The list is literally endless.
You’re all coming from different backgrounds with food history, workout history, body image, etc. but I guarantee you, you all have at least one thing in common…. Looking to better yourselves, improve your health and create lasting habits and a sustainable lifestyle. All it comes down to are simple, intentional skills that turn in to habits, that turn into that lifestyle.

Indoor body weight cardio today.
Give this one a go.
I used this workout as more of a recovery cardio session instead of treadmill incline walking intervals, like I usually do. (I use the Morpheus 7 heart rate strap and HRV/recovery system to track my weekly cardio targets)
You can scale this workout as intense as you want by either adding weights, a weighted vest, increasing speed, or limiting rest.
Enjoy 😉

Who you surround yourself with matters.
What you listen to matters.
What you eat matters.
And the way you speak to yourself matters.
You can’t expect growth while constantly feeding yourself negativity, excuses, poor habits, and environments that drain you and keep you feeling like 💩
Your results are a reflection of what you repeatedly tolerate and consume; mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Want better energy? Better health? Better confidence?
Start being more intentional with what and who you allow into your life.
Get in circles that help you grow, be around people that embody that habits you need to succeed and put aside the excuses that have kept you stuck.
You’re one action away from the life and habits you want.
Nobody else can do that work for you.
So decide & do. 💪🏼
