Was an eventful day yesterday down at thunder mountain speedway in Williams lake with wescar. We were still having carb/mechanical problems on the car but I was working through the gremlins as best as we could. Was getting more and more comfortable with every lap I was able to turn with the car. By qualifying we made some adjustments and I was feeling this car come more to life. I knew we were gonna have rocket by the main event. We timed in middle pack again and on used tires at a track I only raced a couple times before so that was a huge win for us with the troubles we were having with keeping the car running. We finished second place in our dash race. Then went onto our heat race and 2 laps in, we acquired some front end damage from some unsportsmanlike conduct. We did finish fifth in the heat race but was a chore to wrestle her to finish line. We came in and seen what was all damaged and I didn’t have enough parts or time before the main event to have it fixed for the race. And with the prior running issues. My crew and I decided it was best we take the car home to fix it and come out better and stronger for our next race. Want to say a huge thank you to my crew Tavis Cook Hanna Underwood Bud Hardwick Tracey Baranowski and Steve Schultz for doing an amazing job of keeping this thing in the track. Well we’re off to Williams lake for part 2 of the weekend. Last night went good for first time ever being in a latemodel race. We achieved our goal of finishing all our races and finishing the main and driving it onto the trailer. We timed in middle pack which was awesome. Still chasing setup and learning the car and the field. During the main around half way. My throttle stuck but i kept it out there and made it to the end. Will be getting fixed today lol. Huge shoutout to my crew and sponsors for making this happen.

Gearing up for our first race in 2026. This Friday and Saturday the Can Crane Racing Late Model will be racing a double header weekend with the Applied Industrial Technologies WESCAR Late Model Tour Series.

Racing in PG Friday Qualifying at 6pm, Racing at 7pm. Williams Lake Saturday Qualifying at 5pm, Racing at 6pm.
