🥍🔥We are looking forward to hosting the Paradise U19 Invitational Box Lacrosse Tournament this weekend, August 1–2! A huge welcome to our friends visiting from the Burin Peninsula who are making the trip to join us on the floor.

UPCOMING TOURNAMENT REMINDER 🥍

A quick reminder that our upcoming tournament is taking place the weekend of August 1–2.

We need all registrations submitted by Friday, July 24 so we can finalize teams and build the game schedule.

For players outside the Paradise Minor Lacrosse association, the registration fee is $50.

The Paradise Dragons are thrilled to host the upcoming U19 Invitational Box Lacrosse Tournament. Mark your calendars for a weekend of fast-paced, high-energy lacrosse action!

Dates: August 1–2, 2026
Location: Paradise Double Ice Complex

💵 Registration & Fees
Paradise Registered Players: Included in seasonal registration.
Non-Paradise Registered Players: $50 tournament fee.

Payment Email: Please send tournament fee e-transfers to [email protected] (include player name and "U19 Tournament" in the memo). Use the registration confirmation number as the password.

📅 Tournament Schedule & Formats
Division: U19 Mixed (birth years 2008-2011)

Game Times: A detailed schedule with specific team matchups, round-robin brackets, and medal round times will be released to all registered team captains and coaches one week prior to the event.

📢 Attention Spectators: Admission is free for all fans! Come out and cheer on a team at the first Paradise Minor Lacrosse tournament.

📝 Information for Team Managers
If your team is registered, please ensure your roster submissions, player fees, and final paperwork are completed before the tournament weekend. Team check-in will open at the main desk 1 hour prior to the first scheduled game on Saturday morning.

INTRODUCING SPOND: OUR NEW SCHEDULE & COMMUNICATION HUB! 📱🥍

To help make our inaugural season run as smoothly as possible, we are trying out a new app called Spond!

We will be using Spond to coordinate player availability, track schedules, and handle RSVPs for all games and practices. It will also serve as another communication channel for updates, and we’ll be exploring more of its features as the season goes on. Don't worry, we will also continue pushing all major updates, messages, and communication through Facebook, email, and our website just like before.

Here is what you need to do right now to get set up:

Check Your Email: Look at the email address you used to register your child. You should have an invitation from Spond waiting for you.

Download the App: Search for "Spond" in your phone's app store, download it, create your account, and accept the invitation! 📥

A QUICK NOTE ON TEAM PLACEMENT & MISSING INVITES ⚠️

Because we've had several players moving around divisions to balance out our groups, please double-check your child's assigned team once you get into the app.

Wrong Division? If your player is not listed in the correct group, let me know right away so I can shift them over.

No Invite? If you’ve checked your spam folder and still haven't received an email invitation, drop me a line with your child's name and your preferred email address, and I will get you added manually.
